This was a fast paced story of Cristiano and his boy Fox who tries to assassinate him but something goes wrong and they end up together as they try to figure out who put the hit on Cristiano.Cristiano was a Dom but wasn’t into inflicting lots of pain which Fox needed to forget about his painful past. Cristiano struggles with this and his attraction to Fox as he hasn’t been with a man since his father killed his lover many years ago.Things start to get complicated as the mafia Boss is killed and everything points to them. Can they work out who is behind all of this before it’s too,late.

OH....... WOW ....... Another absolutely brilliant edition to the ruthless daddies series I was hooked from the start it's dark & delicious and so very hot it sizzles Cristiano & Fox are amazing together can't recommend it enough fantastic.

Okay... so I knew this would be several things, because I adore these two writers, and knew they'd knock it out of the park. I knew it would be dark, naughty, hot AF, violent, and one of those books I'd have to read again... for reasons.NAILED. IT. On every damn point.I love the idea of Fox being Cristiano's would-be assassin, and their dark love growing from that unlikely meeting. This book started out with action and didn't slow down, except to let us taste the exquisitely naughty connection building between both MCs. I could honestly read a series just about these two, because they were the kind of characters who leave you panting for more.Kudos for the cameos from some of our most loved characters btw... Did I squeal when I saw Damien and Giulio pop up? OBVS. Gimme more.

Ahhh, this book was SO addictive! I just couldn't put it down from start to finish and phew, the steam level was high too! I loved everything from Fox and Cristiano's initial meeting to their growing feelings for each other. They were both such contradictions but it just worked perfectly. I loved the kink, the action, the characters themselves and the ending too. It kept me on my toes but these two were definitely the heart and soul of the story - I would love to hear more snippets from them in the future! The world-building added to the story and I liked how the secondary characters kept things a bit more unpredictable. Overall, another brilliant book in the Ruthless Daddies series and one I'd definitely recommend if you like this genre (read the trigger warnings first though). For me, it has to be 5 stars!I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

Mafia Consigliere meet Hired Assassin... And... Let the love blossom...Cristiano and Fox didn't disappoint... I read their story after Silvano's and Kyran's, which should have been after this book... But, it didn't take away from Cristiano's and Fox's story at all... Their story is intense in a way that very few authors are able to write and make you still love both characters... In a way, that makes you forget they kill and partake in other illegal activities... In a way, that after the blood has been shed... The bodies left cooling... And, all illegal transactions are complete, that all that is left and matters is their love and possessiveness of one another... I hit pre-order as soon as it was possible,So no wonder I gobbled it down, like the book-addict I am so here are some of my messy thoughts fresh from the source of my mushed up brain:In Surrender we are following Cristiano, consigliere of one of the Dons of New Bristol, and Fox, a young assassin AKA bratty mrdr twink.An assassination gone wrong forces them to become ‘reluctant allies’ (Well, Fox may or may not be an actual hostage) however:Both can’t deny their instant attraction to each other, and while Fox is shameless from second one, Cristiano is a bit more reserved; The mafia world doesn’t deal well with anything other than “straight men”, but he’s not afraid to put Fox in his place!The air is sizzling hot in almost every interaction & I was living for the intense kinky scenes, as well as the cozy moments between them!Fox is a bratty little painsl_t & once he made Cristiano to his self-declared “Daddy” there’s almost nothing to stop him bratting out every chance he gets. A punishment is a delightful pastime activity after all…too bad, Cristiano finds ways to get behind Fox’s façade & makes him cry just beautifully!I loved the dynamics we got from Cristiano, who’s never been a Daddy before & Fox, who’s a firecracker on the outside but carries wounds not just on his body.The forced proximity over a span of days definitely brings out the obsessive possessiveness in both MCs & I’m here for it!The possessiveness goes both ways by the way and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their “love” declarations …heheheSurrender gave me a Daddy/Boy dynamic I didn’t knew I needed in my life, and all the MafiaRomance appropriate glory!(Full content info was provided by the authors up front!

This was a fun dark mafia read. Don't take it seriously just enjoy it for what it. Read the triggers and warnings. I really enjoy the m/m mafia trope Ang this was no exception. I'm not a huge fan of bdsm but this is an over the top interpretation thats pretty dark and dirty. I loved Fox and wish we were able to get to know him better.I think both these guys had some depth to give. Overall though it was a well written and entertaining story.

Lange nicht mehr so viel Blut und Schmerz gelesen. Daddy und Good Boy als Kontrast war nicht so einfach spürbar. Ich brauchte jedenfalls Pausen beim lesen. Die gemeinsame Suche nach dem verräter warf Spannung mit rein.

All I can say is read the warning at the start of the book because there is a lot going on for these two and I was glad I was warned beforehand. Even so these guys were both broken in ways and instead of them going through some magical transformation where they are fixed just because they fall in love that actually just find their match who enables but in a good way all their darkness. I really enjoyed this story though it was a little darker than I usually read.
