Right size... admitedly, i use it turned sideways or long-ways. Super light weight. Its just thick enough to fill the space from the bed to my head when I sleep on my side. Its firm enough that my head doesnt fall through, but soft enough it gives way just enough when I lay my head on it. And gives more if I press my head in, pressing gently back when I release the pressure. I really do use it sideway, so the ridge runs along my face, from chin to forehead. Heres the strange bit, I thought..... the box arrives, inside is a mesh cloth bag, with the pillow folded/rolled inside... not an ounce of plastic wrap to protect it from the elements. But it came thru just fine, dry and not an inkling of an odor.

Update: I originally gave this pillow five stars (See review below). I purchased one in October and it was great, however, I purchased another one the following March and this one was hard as a brick, very unlike the original purchase and it was much too hard to sleep on so I returned it . In June I purchased another one and this time the pillow was just like my original purchase, soft and comfortable. So I have purchased a total of three pillows, and two of them were good. There seems to be an issue with quality control but I still think this is a good pillow and would recommend trying it.When I first got this pillow my first thought was that it was too small. I tried it anyway and it worked out fantastic! I am petite and it fits perfectly under my neck and consequently I have no neck/ear pain anymore from sleeping on a pillow that does not fit me. It is lightweight, soft and seems well-made. Would be good for traveling too because of its light weight and small size. I plan to purchase more!

I bought this for my 90 year old mother who is now no taller than 5 feet and has osteo-arthritis as well as scoliosis. It has worked wonders and she no longer complains of severe neck pain. I first bought another one but found it was too big for her. It was too big for me too so neither of us used it. That’s when I realized there was something called a “low profile” contour pillow. Before that I thought all contour pillows were the same. They are not. This one is small but well suited for smaller people or someone with a short neck. I haven’t used it for travel yet but would consider buying another one for that purpose. It comes with a zippered case with handles for easy packing and carrying.

I am five feet, five inches tall. My old ergonomic pillow was pretty big and also getting shabby. I wanted a smaller ergonomic pillow. When I moved around in bed, it was difficult to re-position the old pillow so I could get back to sleep because of the pillow's size. Well, I received the new pillow and slept on it last night. I figured that it would take a little while to get used to it partially because it is not as thick as the old one was, as well as smaller in outline and does not hold my head up as much. Well, it is just great for me! I slept like a log, and felt entirely comfortable right from the beginning. I have bought disappointing pillows in the past, and am very happy to have this one.

The pillow is just what we were looking for but it reeks of cigarettes for some reason. Wondering if this was a used item.

This product is not made of memory foam. It's just stiff foam. If you squeeze the material, it springs back immediately.It was the right shape and height that I needed, but it's false advertising to call this memory foam.It doesn't work for me at all, as it doesn't compress or support or contour, it's just very stiff and springy.Additionally, you've got to completely air out the pillow and the cover (I washed my cover too) as it reeks of chemical processing.Wouldn't recommend.I wish I could get this exact shape and size pillow, but made of real memory foam.

I have a tricky sensitive neck and was so hoping this pillow would work. Out of the box it looked like it would, but after a night using it, not for me.

I've never slept with a pillow. It's probably my personal anatomy, and you know who you are if you too find it uncomfortable. My physical therapist required that I begin using a pillow for neck support. This pillow is perfect. It is small, memory foam makes it even smaller where are your head touches, while still leaving a lip of foam beneath your neck for support. This pillow will not make you feel like your head is resting on a boulder and your chin is jutting into your chest and obstructing your airway.

I have been suffering from really bad neck aches and terrible sleeps for the last year and a half and tried so many pillows and finally found one that suits me perfectly. Although this is sold as a kids pillow, it perfect size for me as im only 5'1. It looks really small when you first get it, but cause I dont toss and turn anymore, the size hasnt mattered. Since I received the pillow my neck aches have gone and I get a great nights sleep every time. I had forgotten how it felt to sleep the night through.
