I got this after reading many of the reviews somewhat aware of what to expect. I spitshine my shoes and boots regularly so I know what kind of glass finish I want.PROS: handy for a FAIR brushing and removing the dusty look. Can use while plugged into the USB. It creates a great initial (prep) buff to even out the wax on the area of the shoe. Comes in a handy case.CONS: Weak motor, any worthy pressure (needed to get a really good shine) it stops spinning. It leaves little fluff when using the buffer. Does not produce a mirror finish.Other thoughts, they should have used better buffing (wool) material; material they are using is too weak. I spent 1 hour on a pair of dress shoes. The initial buff for both shoes is good. But for a mirror finish, you need to do it by hand or with a better machine. It creates a "light brushed finish" but does not create a real shine. These are good when you need to quickly clean your shoes of scuff and dirt but if you are looking for a mirror finish, you can't do it with this machine.

The unit was as described. I have only used it a couple of times but so far it has worked well. I like the idea that it is a rechargeable unit. I am interested in seeing how it stands up over the long term.

Has a decent amount of tourqe and makes polishing shoes a lot easier but wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. Still can do a better job with my hands it just makes polishing shoes a little bit easier
