My 75 year old skin is easily cut and torn. These sleeves allow me to cut and trim trees and shrubs around the property without ending up looking like I wrestled a mountain lion. This is my second set of these sleeves. I used the first pair so frequently that the elastic finally stretched enough after 3 years that they needed replacement.

My husband is clearing off the brambles and locust trees from the back 40, and these have been a lifesaver. He hates anything that is hot on his arms, but he says these are not bothersome. Although the locust thorns will penetrate through the mesh if he's not careful, the other thorns and brambles don't bother him at all. He comes in without a scratch on him. Love these.

I had high hopes for these arm sleeves. I do a lot of gardening and other work around the house, and because of my age and having very thin skin on my arms, anything that barely touches or scratches my arms causes a vein just under my skin to break, causing blood to pool and turn black under my skin. It takes almost two weeks for the black bruise to go away each time. I had been covering my arms with a pair of thick socks with the toe of the socks cut off to allow my hand to pass through. The socks, being so thick, are very protective, but they're embarrassing to wear when I'm gardening in my front yard and a neighbor comes up to chat. So I decided to try these sleeves instead. I loved them at first because they were long enough to cover half of my upper arm and I think they look cute. I'm a 5'6 woman who weighs 120 pounds. My arms are slender but not skinny, and the Small was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, though, after wearing the sleeves only twice for a few hours each time, they started falling down around my elbows, rendering them not only useless for protecting my upper arms but annoying because of the bunching at my elbows. I was constantly pulling them back up, only to have them fall down again after a few seconds. I returned them to Amazon for a refund. It's disappointing because if only they would have stayed up as they were supposed to do, I would have been happy with them, even though they're not as thick as the socks I'm now back to wearing.

I got these to protect my arms when reaching into a large rose bush to prune it, and it does prevent scratches, but the thorns snag the material and when I pull my arm out the sleeve pulls down. Still I don't see how this would be avoidable with fabric, so it's better to have to unhook myself and pull the sleeves back up than get scratched.

These sleeves protect my husband’s arms from the butchered appearance they previously had. Due to aging and blood thinners, whenever hubs worked outside his arms looked mangled. Not any more. He loves these.

Perfect for dealing squash plants.

My upper arm measures between the large size and extra large size. I bought the XL since the L might be too tight. This made them loose at the top and they would work their way down my arms. The fix was to sew a pleat at the top to reduce the top fit. So far, a better fit.

Being a serious gardener I have a tendency to get right inside trees and shrubs resulting in multiple cuts and scrapes. In an effort to stay cool and protected I purchased the arm gloves. When I saw the tops of the arm bands had no tension band or way to tighten them to keep them from falling down my arm I was unsure they would stay up. Well, they stayed up for about 10 minutes and kept falling down below my elbows for the next 2 hours. Without a band to hold them up they are worthless. Disappointing.

I needed sleeves To handle bunnies. The sleeve is outstanding. Out my fiercest bunny to test the sleeve and I didn’t have any marks on me. The only way it could be improved is if it had a hole for the thumb and protected part of the hand as well. But for the price, I highly recommend this.

They are comfortable. They cover most of the arms and they seem to protect as advertised.

Fits swell good for cuts ? Not so good around rose bushes
