Package arrived damaged. I checked the board and it seems to be ok. I won’t know if it is fine until I get it placed on the wall. You will hear from me if it is not fine.

!!YOUR PERSONAL MAGNETS WONT WORK!!We spent hours mounting this board on the wall; not only is it extremely heavy, but the paper template provided is inaccurate, the holes do not line up perfectly with the holes in the board, so it was quite a strenuous and tedious process. After finally getting it hung on the wall, we were quite disappointed that none of our magnets worked, they slide right off! The only magnets that will work are the extra strong ones that come with it. Extremely disappointed.

Regular decorative magnets do not work well on this board. Items will slide , you we need a more heavy duty magnet. Also markers will need to be bright colors to be seen on the black.

The black board is a really cool statement piece, but make sure you also get chalkboard dry erase markers. White ones and metallic ones worked best in my opinion. I had a harder time with using normal dry erase markers on this because they don’t show up as well (probably obvious)

48 X 36 is actually 46 1/16 X 33 1/16I assumed the reviews complaining about mounting being a pain were from people that were not as handy but they are completely accurate. Major pain to mount and zero room for error. The mounting template is near useless as well.It did come with spacers to stand off from the wall. Some reviews stated it did not. Maybe they changed that from the complaints.Would definitely recommend better hardware before you even start putting this up.
