Omega Q Plus MAX – Advanced Heart Health and Healthy Aging Support with 100 mg of CoQ10 and Turmeric (60 softgels)

This is a good cardiovascular support and general health supplement, but could be improved in a couple ways.The formulation:You get 100mg of Hydro Q-sorb (bioavailable Coq10), plus 200mg EPA/350mg DHA, 174mg L-carnitine fumarate, 125mg HydroCurc curcumin extract, and 30mg resveratrol. You also get the addition of chromium and some b vitamins.The quality of the ingredients are great (high quality patented extracts), but the dosages are generally too low. Only 200mg EPA, whereas typical fish oil supplements contain 700mg EPA.Only 125mg HydroCurc, whereas the typical dosage is 200-500mg.Low dose of resveratrol, just 30mg whereas it's typically taken at 500-1000mg per day.Overall - it's a good formulation, but a little lacking. If they upped the curcumin and resveratrol dosages, then this would be better. As is, I think you would likely be better off getting something with a higher dosage of curcumin and possibly some other cardiovascular health promoting ingredients like aged garlic extract, taurine, astaxanthin, etc.

The overall ingredient profile on this is pretty decent. You're getting a variety mix of multiple beneficial (or potentially beneficial) ingredients, including things as basic as l-carnitine to trans-resveratrol. This is kind of a one-stop shop meant to replace multiple individual supplements. I'm not sure about the fully efficacious dose of each ingredient, as I haven't delved into the literature. That said, this is still quite a pricey investment for what is a month's supply. I could not confirm quality or verify any sort of standardization for this, but seems fine. No negative effects.

So this is a very potent formula, which I love, since I’m getting older in age, and need to make sure my heart is at its peak.After taking this supplement for a few weeks, I have yet to notice any major differences in my health, but I am very healthy and physically fit, and this supplement is I’m sure, helping to keep me at that level.

But if you're good with swallowing large pills, it does go down easily. A few other miscellaneous comments:-Expiration date of April 2025, or about 18 months out.-GMP and gluten free-No indication of where this is made (not a good thing)-The amount of Omega 3s and turmeric per serving is a bit on the low side compared to what I typically take. So I need to either take more than 2 a day, or supplement this with additional Omegas and turmeric. Not ideal.The dosing here is two pills a day, which means this is a 30-day supply. With the current price of $63, the price tag here is really high - over $2 per day. Given the high price, lack of info on source, and slightly low amounts of the key contents, I have to go with a 3-star overall rating.

This product makes me feel amazing. It’s like a lightbulb went off. I have a lot more energy and no brain fog. I truly feel great with this.My only complaint is that there is so much B12 that I worry about taking this with my regular multi vitamin as it has about the same B12 at 500mcg. If I take both I’ll be pushing 1000 mcg and that amount regularly makes me break out with acne.That all being said; this supplement makes me feel so good I’m considering switching my multivitamin so something with less B12 as it might be worth it.I was torn between 4 and 5 stars and would probably give this a 4.5 if I could as the cost is very high if I want to buy it in the future and the b12 amount. Regardless, I feel so good taking this I may keep doing it.

I am overall pleased with this supplement. I like that there are other added benefits to this product - including turmeric and B vitamins. I have had no stomach upset or digestive issues while taking this supplement. The only drawback for me is the size of the pills. The pills are very large but they do go down easy enough with plenty of water. I think the long term benefits remain to be seen but so far so good.

An Omega-3 fatty acid supplement enhanced to contain a number of worthwhile additional ingredients supporting cardiovascular function. I like the ingredients, though did not notice when ordering that the oil was from squid, not algae. Would not order again as a vegetarian, but grateful for the legitimate health benefits.

Off the bat, these supplements are expensive, but it's not for nothing. Packed full of other vitamins, these are large in size and large in price, but are so, so good for you. I especially love the combination of Omega and Turmeric - 2 ingredients I make sure to take daily. Though the size of these pills are large, they're "softgels," so they don't get caught in your throat and they don't have a gross "vitamin" taste." I've had no ill side effects from these, and can only feel the benefits - calm stomach, increased immunity, overall feeling of wellness.
