Very nice quality leather real suede boots. The top of the leg has a slight western styling and finish, a nod to the 70s trend, but not too much to date these boots. Should remain on trend for at least several seasons. If you have a wide calf you may find it difficult to slide your leg into this boot because the tops of them are smaller than where your natural calf would fit inside the boot I.e. they taper and pinch slight just under the knee. They look expensive on me 5ft 3in slim build. There is not much give or stretch to them which you may find with the more fashionable sock boots.
