Romcom Perfection!
I lean closer and lower my voice. “Because if you were mine, I’d be sure everyone knows it. There would be no question in anyone’s mind.”Oh my! I’m completely in love with Logan and Parker and this fabulous story!Just based off the author and the book synopsis, I knew this was going to be a good book. Well, it was even better than I anticipated. I couldn’t put it down, but at the same time I wanted to savor every page.It was everything I want in a romcom—excellent writing, tangible chemistry between the main characters, funny and witty dialogue, a great storyline, characters that are relatable and lovable, and romance that is intense and sizzling but clean. What to expect:🏒 Brother’s best friend🏒 Childhood crush🏒 Fake dating🏒 fmc never been kissed🏒 Hockey romance🏒 Closed door🏒 Kisses onlyWhat I loved:🍂 Smiles just for her🍁 Fall vibes🍂 Mr. Eds 🐈⬛🍁 Wearing his jersey🍂 Fancy Chair🍁 Bookstore date🍂 Four knocks on the wall🍁 First kiss 🔥🍂 Pink roses🍁 Grand gesture🍂 The proposalLogan’s teammates were great and I’m hoping they each get their own books! This is the first book in the Sweater Weather series — 7 books by 7 different authors, and I am here for it!🎧 Update: I just finished listening to the audio version of this story and absolutely loved it! A fabulous start to this series!
Charming, swoony, epically hilarious - I could not put this down! Emma St. Clair kicks off this multi-author fall themed series with a bang! The story follows Parker, who is the social media manager for the Appies, a local hockey team in the small town of Harvest Hollow. And hockey player (and her former crush) Logan, who has been demoted from the NHL, following an injury and some bad press. Parker hasn’t seen him in 10 years when he suddenly left town without a goodbye. With Parker’s father’s birthday gala coming up, she finds herself in a jam when she names Logan as her boyfriend. To which Logan is more than happy to pose as her fake boyfriend!Parker and Logan were absolutely adorable. I bought into their chemistry right away, and I felt like the nature of their connection rang true for me. I loved their banter, their sizzling physical chemistry, and their sweet emotional connection. Their story is uplifting and it gives hope. I devoured it in the blink of an eye!Just Don’t Fall was full of Emma St. Clair’s signature, laugh-out-loud humor. A slow-burning romance, witty banter, crackling chemistry and an engaging, entertaining plot. It was so sweet, had the perfect amount of emotion, and I just had such a good time reading. It was a quick, easy, emotionally satisfying read and I’m really excited for the upcoming books in this series!

If you love sports romance, and feel good love stories this book is for you.
🅁🄴🅅🄸🄴🅆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🆃🅷🅴 Basic 🅿🅻🅾🆃Logan left his hometown at 18 for the NHL, leaving behind his best friend and his best friends little sister without a word. When sent back to play for his towns AHL team after a string of injuries and bad press, he reconnects with the teams social media manager - the girl he never thought he would see again. Parker is a ray of sunshine working for the team. She has had a crush on Logan since childhood. When Parker lies to her dad that her date to an important Gala will be Logan, he is quick to agree and what started out as fake quickly turns to real feelings and a sweet first ever kiss for Parker.☁️ Just Dont Fall is a closed door romance, and there is no spicy scenes, but the fluff and all the feels are for sure there. The chemistry between Logan and Parker was there immediately and you could really feel the love. ☁️-----Things I loved about Logan:✸ he falls hard✸ not overly domineering✸ acknowledges his faults and open to becoming betterThings I Love about Parker:✸ sunshine✸ passionate about her job and a good friend✸ stands up for herself🅵🅸🅽🅰🅻 🆃🅷🅾🆄🅶🅷🆃🆂Overall this book was amazing and I highly suggest reading it!✸ This was my first closed door book and it was a nice break from the heavy smut I’ve been reading lately. It was sweet and cuddly while still really showing the budding romance between the MFC and MMC. Parker and Logan were made for each other. I am a sucker for the brothers best friend trope and loved finding one without all the drama of “mY bRoTheR WiLl mUrDeR YoU!”.✸ The rest of the characters were wonderful as well, you could really tell the team loved them both and was happy for them without being insufferable and overbearing like can sometimes happen in sports books.I however do have a few criticisms✸ The book felt like once it got to 75% she had forgotten to actually get to the plot of the book. While yes we had seen the relationship blooming it felt rushed to get to the kiss and wrap up leaving some plot points undeveloped and under explained.✸ I really thought that what pushed Logan to ghost everyone was going to be more exciting or dramatic than what it was. I was rooting for there to be a surprise bi/gay subplot with Parkers brother and Logan.✸ Him all of a sudden leaving after one game with the team seemed out of left field and like ti should have been mentioned before the last like ten pages of the book. This could have added so much dimension to the story if mentioned sooner.🆃🆁🅾🅿🅴🆂✸ fake dating✸ hockey romance✸ mutual pining✸ brothers best friend🆃🆁🅸🅶🅶🅴🆁🆂✸ crappy parents

Swoony fall hockey romance
The first in the series of interconnected but standalone books this is a loose Never Been Kissed remix with some brother's ex-best friend, workplace forced proximity, fake dating and hockey romance all mashed up to perfection.I LOVED Parker so much!! She had a series of hilariously horrible first kiss attempts that made her increasingly anxious about kissing and dating in general. Enter her childhood crush, Logan, an NHL player who's been sent down to the minors because of a PR problem and things heat up fast.Reunited for the first time since Logan ghosted her and her brother to play hockey, Parker quickly realizes her feelings never went away. When she needs a date to her father's big birthday gala, Logan is more than happy to step up and shows Parker in a number of way that he wants to be more than her 'fake' boyfriend. The chemistry and EPICLY swoon-worthy moments were some of the best I've EVER read. Made even more impressive considering the MCs don't even kiss on the lips until almost the very end of the book. Emma has a special gift to make all those lingering touches and almost kisses melt your heart in the best way.I gobbled this book up and cannot wait to read the next ones in the series. The bar is set VERY high with this one and I was so honored to have been given an early copy. I voluntarily read this book and all opinions are my own.

SUCH AN AMAZING BOOK!!!!
Just Don't FallEmma.St.ClairRating 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁Favourite highlight:And this is a perfect illustration of the problem I’m facing. Parker is so good at doing what’s best for other people. So giving. So generous. If I want her drink, she’ll hand it over. If a friend needed a kidney, she’d be at the hospital within the hour, setting up tests to see if she matches as a donor. And if a hockey player needs a girlfriend to help his image, she’s all in.But what does Parker really want?ReviewLogan Barnes is a heartbreakingly gorgeous athlete until he up and left and ghosted all his friends, but now he's back in Harvest Hollow where Parker has finally overcome her crush but here he is back again just to tempt the fates.Recovering from an injury and bad press Logan has to have a good image and when he finds that his best friend's sister is the Appies' social media team manager he knows he's done for.Parker is the most selfless being as you can very well see from the highlights she agrees to become Logan's fake girlfriend but she's decided not to fall for him this time because she knows he'd be gone the moment his rep improved. The only thing is she shouldn't fall in love sounds easier but when he's sending mixed signals Parker is even more determined.A perfect closed door, small town, slow burn, romance with a gorgeous team of The Appies men and oooooh did I mention that this is a series of books by all my favourite authors set in #harvesthollow ?So what are you waiting for go GRAB your copy TODAY!!!!!Also Emma and Jenny will be releasing the books of other Appies players soon so DEFINITELY check them out!

I’m in love with this book, its characters and its story
I hardly ever pick up a book if it doesn’t include at least some smut. This book however, doesn’t contain any. In most cases that would put me off but I saw fake dating and hockey then the sprinkle of ‘brother’s best friend’/’childhood crush’ and fake dating and my interest was peaked.Imagine stars hollow from Gilmore Girls, the nice little town. Now picture a guy that is the equivalent of all of the best bits of Rory’s boyfriends. That is Logan Barnes. This man, omfg this man, is the perfect book boyfriend.I was given the pleasure of reading this book a little bit before it officially came out and honestly what an honour it has been. The ending of this book was so cute that I cried! Literal tears were leaking down my face!!Honestly no matter how much I gush, my brain physically cannot find the words to explain how good this book is. I'm talking it came out today and I am ready to buy a paperback! What I will tell you though is:Hockey player/Social media manager (she's also an ex figure skater)He only truly smiles around herHE PLANS A DATE AND PART OF IT IS TO A BOOKSTORE AND AND AND HE PICKS A BOOK FOR HER AND SHE PICKS ONE FOR HIM!!! And god when is it my turn! They’re not even dating at this point and I have never fallen in love with a man so fast before in my whole life and I have so many book boyfriends I could have one for every day for the rest of my life.Childhood crushA {redacted} to {redacted} by Taylor Swift on the ice after getting the rest of the players to hand her a bouquet of individual roses with the thorns removed so she doesn't cut herself.A cat called Evil Demon Spawn (Mr Eds for short)

Great Fun,easy read
What a great story, full of anticipation and chemistry but also sweet and clean. I loved the main characters, I loved the bonus epilogue which was available at the end, and I cannot wait to read more of the other characters stories. I loved it.
