Q: IS THIS WHAT DAIRY QUUEN USES

I don't think so. The gravy on DQ's chicken strips is somewhat pasty, or floury, compared to this mix. I like the Southeastern Mills Gravy Mix far better, and I love the chicken strips at DQ.

Q: What is expiration date on average with the Country gravy if anyone can give me an idea? A year?

The expiration date is printed on the top of each package. The gravy I purchased about a year ago expires in March 2017. Although those dates are suggested "use by" dates and these products can be used after that date without issue.

Q: When I made this it was runny. Any suggestions?

This is a regular purchase of mine. I make it per instructions on back of package. I have never ever found it runny. If anything, after it has been on low for several minutes I usually have to add hot water to the consistency I like best. I do know there are two different packages of this - one you add 3 cups of water - the other uses 1 1/2 cups of water - I have no advise other than to only use the amount of water that is suggested on back of package.

Q: Is this Shawnee Mills?

I do not think so. It says Country. It makes a great gravy with sausage.
