Used as an adaptor between standard PVC clamping drains and linear drains with a 2" (50mm) outlet. It provides an easier way to install the linear drain than fashioning your own adaptor with the strainer barrell. It will hold the linear drain securely, and prevent debris from falling into drain whilst packing the final mortar layer. It will work with Oatey, Sioux Chief and other brands of clamping shower drains sold in Home Improvement stores in the US.
