Size up
Perfect, amazing quality just size up as the sizes are different in UK.

Love these shoes fit so well and really comfortable

Longevity and sizing
Good product, but like all ballet shoes that are worn 4-5 times a week, they don’t last long.Sizing isn’t like a shoe eg my daughter is UK size 5M, whilst her ballet shoe is an 7-8M.

Super comfortable and stretchy
I usually wear capezio sculpture II and was intrigued by the new 4 way stretch material of the new hanami. Those slippers just arrived and they are so great ! They fit a bit larger than the sculpture II (which runs quite small) and the criss cross elastics are better placed on the hanami too ( the slipper hugs your foot when on relevé which was not the case with the sculpture II ). The material is so innovative and SO stretchy ! It feels like you are wearing a sock ! I highly recommend

Fabulous fit - loving the new foot hugging material
Lovely shoes - but remember Capezio sizing is different from standard. My DD is a 13 (so needed a UK1) I recommend buying 1 size clarger than shoe size. Easy to put on, good fit and my daughter loves them. I like them on her too.

Too small even with one size up!
Hi, I'm a 6.5UK (40EU). Having read all reviews, I opted for a size up, 7.5UK.Even factoring the stretch in these, they are still too small. I also wonder what to think of this particular material in general and the rather low cut on the side when dancing.I assume they are comfy, but mostly do they give the best edge during a ballet class? Might either try another half size up or check Block instead as mine are ruined.

Size up
Bought for daughter (who is normally a size 4 or 5 in a ballet shoe). These are tiny as the 5 she couldn’t even pull over her heel. Ordered the 6 and again, too small (with her toes scrunched up). Eventually ended up with the size 8 which although they fit, they also get dirty very quickly! Much prefer the leather ballet shoes for fit and longevity.

Great Shoe, but KNOW HOW TO BUY THE RIGHT SIZE!
These are my ballerina's FAVORITE ballet shoe by far. They fit the foot well and provide a snug, but flexible fit that most teen dancers prefer. She "feels the floor" better than leather shoes and the crossed elastic provide a secure fit. Basically, she loves them more than any other shoe!!BUT (and this is a major BUT), you have to know how to size them. These are NOT STREET SHOE SIZES! My daughter wears a 8.5-9 in street shoes and she wears a 10.5 in Hanami ballet shoes. We thankfully knew this the first time we bought (I think by checking out the Capezio's website sizing chart) and ordered accordingly. One final caveat. These are NOT leather or thick canvas. They stretch and are thinner (but double layered). My daughter dances 4-5 days a week for 2-3 hours per day and after 6 months, she usually needs a new pair. I am fine with that because I want her to have a good, comfortable shoe, but they are not as durable as leather and usually by the end of the dancing semester, she has made a hole in the outer layer of fabric (this is our clue to get a new pair). If durability and cost-cutting is your number one factor, you may want to opt for a leather shoe.

Finding my true size
As a transgender woman, I am trying to find what my sizes are. I ordered the dance shoes because the price was right. Now I have a better idea what my shoe size (as a woman) is.

color is not as pictured
I heeded the advice of others and ordered 1 size up from street shoe for my daughter and the fit was perfect. I am displeased with the color though the "light suntan" looks like the average ballet shoe color of a light pink in the picture, but what we got was a light brown shoe. I went back to make sure it wasn't my mistake.
