This book resonates. I grew up on a farm, tilling the soil and praying for success each year while knowing that so many factors out of my control impacted the crops. The perspective of this book and it's message of land stewardship rings so true.

There are so many books out there about gardening by the moon, but this book stands apart by a mile. The author's decades of gardening (farming, actually) by the moon take the knowledge beyond theoretical to very, very practical. As an astrologer and an herbalist, I can already tell this book is going to be a well-worn companion in no time.

Jane did a beautiful job describing just how to garden by the moon. What a joyful read in the middle of a cold and snowy winter! I appreciated Jane’s well written descriptions of the moon phases and the pairing of the zodiac signs while mingled with her love and respect for nature and plants .
