Nicole Moudaber is the real deal. Known as the Queen of Underground Techno, Nicole rose through the international techno ranks with highly coveted releases on 8Sided Dice, Kling Klong, Leena Music, Waveform and Drumcode. Nicole releases her debut album, Believe, and joins a small group of artists who have put out an LP on Drumcode, Adam Beyer s esteemed techno imprint. This album is a game-changer for Nicole, as it displays her evolution from a fierce female DJ to the Lioness of Techno! Believe is a stunning album comprised of 10 dancefloor weapons, flawlessly executed with tight production and the dark, sleazy tribal house sounds we ve all grown very fond of. This album reflects Nicole's sophisticated production skills and provides a blueprint for the sound that is her legacy. Believe is representative of not only the incredible journey I have been on to date, but also of where I am at as an artist currently, Moudaber told Resident Advisor. Like Nicole's DJ sets, her new album is full of dark and mysterious techno with booty blastin beats that are guaranteed to have you twerking til sunrise and providing summertime anthems that will be heard in clubs and festivals from Miami to Ibiza and beyond.

Techno
This is fine first showing of original work by a female producer in true techno style of music.

ok cd
this cd reflects nicoles live sets. Hard, heavy, dark with no direction. I know its not a mix but still, the tracks are long and almost make you skip to hear the next one. Even the live set it get boring after and hour or so. Its not a cd I listen to over and over again.

Sophistication in beats. A must have if you're a serious deep house collector.
For those of us who grew up going to NYC after-hours parties, on the West Side, or Lower East side, dancing in big warehouses-turned-into-clubs, THIS is the music we danced to until dawn. The World, MK, The Roxy, Mars, (when they were cool), had this awesome music, deep dark beats, that reverberated thru the dancing bodies, under the white smoke and strobe lights. I LOVE this whole album. Blast it in your room, car or whatever space you have your best speakers. If you're into pop music, are looking for lyrics, dig top 40 stuff on the radio, this may not appeal to you. Nicole's music is caviar, fine sushi, not McDonalds, to the ears. These tracks are for serious all-night dancing. The sophistication of the beats, the rythm, will have you moving, indulging in the melodic deep beats. A must have if you're a serious deep house/techno collector.
