As everyone else has posted, these do not work with an iPhone 8 and the most up-to-date software. Apple figured out a way to tell when the adapters aren't made by Apple or an approved Apple company and it stops these from working and posts a message that says "this accessory is not compatible." Boooo! Returning.

this product is NOT compatible with the iPhone 7. As soon as you try to use it, you will get a notification on your iPhone that says "this is not compatible with this device". Do not waste your money or time with this product, you will be disappointed. You're better off buying it from the Apple store and spending the extra mone.

Just got the Iphone 8 and ordered these in addition to the stock adapter provided by Apple. Neither of the adapters that came in the mail from this purchase were compatible with my Iphone 8. A review mentioned that the product is authentic Apple product. That was not the case for me. I will be returning this product and purchasing from a different seller.

Wouldn't even give it one star, but had to for a review. Bought it as a back up for if/when I lose mine that came with my phone. Tried to use it last week, didn't even work one time. Tried it with more than one pair of headphones, tried re-plugging it in. Went to return it, found out that I was too late.

I would give this item 0 stars if that was an option. Don't waste your money. One connector stopped working after about 2 months and the second didn't work at all. Of course this was after Amazon's 30 day return policy so I'm left with 2 defective connectors. A really poor customer experience. DO NOT BUY!

These did not work - "not supported" message received on iPhone.

iPhone does NOT recognize this product...so it's useless and was a waste of $.
