These are nice leashes. Our boy is well over 100# and tends to pull in the direction he wants to go, or just becomes an anchor if he's sniffing or watching something. We like that there is some stretch to these instead of having his neck and our arms yanked. The downside is the bungie part doesn't last very long before it gets stretched out and flexes too easily. The original ones were permanently attached so the lead was pretty useless once the bungie was toast. We ordered a new one and it now comes with hooks on both ends of the bungie so you can replace it when it gets tired. All in all not terrible, just not great either, but this could be that our dog is just too strong for it's intended purpose.

I'm giving this a 5 because they advertised it exactly as I received it, and it's very thick and durable. The one I chose is really long and I didn't realize how much drama that could cause with the rope tangling and all that lol. It's my fault, but had I gotten slightly smaller, I wouldn't have been in that situation lol. If you purchase anything over 50 ft, just keep an eye on the rope for tangling. Especially when putting it away, or else it's a pain in the butt to get it untangled lol.

The media could not be loaded.  My chihuahua terrier mix is prone to pulling, and the leash has held up for almost a year. For dogs that pull hard, the retractable part is not something I trust. In the end, I bought Black Diamond mountain climbing clips to be attached as the primary D ring and used the included clip as a backup hook in case the harness thread breaks.

The NTR nylon dog leash is exceptional! I couldn't be happier! I have two big dogs in the 100 pound range and using my easy walk harnesses with this leash which has a heavy duty clip that rotates and a double locking mechanism assures that my dogs can move freely but won't slip the leash. The nylon, round material of the leash slides through my hands as I release and gather the leash up while walking and the bungee cord end prevents abrupt yanking for both myself and my dogs should they hit the end of the leash and move quickly. Great product!

I have a small breed Jack Russel Terrier who has gone through & broken 3 retractable leashes because he pulls a lot, so I decided to try this bungee leash & finally I have something that can withstand my dog’s pulling while he is being walked

When we first purchased this lead, I was a fan of how it was constructed. The handle looked to be a sturdy neoprene design, the lead itself looked solid, and the bungee at the end looked to help temper our dogs occasional outburst of energy.We've owned this lead for around 6 weeks and the bungee has lost all of its elastic properties. The company who created the lead did it in such a way that the bungee cannot be removed without cutting it. So we now have a lead that cannot do what it was purchased to do. Sigh... another piece of expensive garbage for the trash.
