I've never used a feeding stand before and have made quite a few mistakes. After buying the cheap tri-pod ones (3 of them) we decided to go metal.The hogs broke the last one in one day. I bought this ring and plastic 55 gal drums(2) but the drums were tapered and they wouldn't fit correctly.They fit the metal drums perfectly.Great quality.

Works as advertised I feed the critters year-round I use minerals corn soy beans I take pretty good care of them because I want them to taste good. Didn’t know what to think about this 55 gallon barrel band wrap but works as advertised and no problems yet.

This feeder band works great. So much easier than drilling holes in your barrel and hanging inside the barrel (or crawling in) to put the nuts on the bolts! If you're installing this by yourself, it's difficult to hold the feeder band on while you try to put the long bolts in to draw it together. Use a ratcheting bar clamp to pull it together until you can get the nuts on the bolts.

Pretty straightforward install - did it i the field with tools I had in the Jeep. Feel very good about the fit - even with a few sings in the barrel, it was easy to get on.

Perfect for retrofit barrell application. Strong as hell and fit snug on multiple barrels I tried it on. Will buy more of these!

The band itself seems to be top quality but I'm assuming the one I bought had been opened prior to me getting it. It was reboxed and missing a couple washers. No big deal but the seller should repackage better to prevent hardware being lost. Also, be easy on the cheap bolts that come with it as they will strip fairly easy. I had to replace two of the short ones and really didn't think I tightened them that much.
