First, this is terrific soap. The differences between this brand and whatever you probably use... This soap lasts a really long time. A bar could last a guy taking a "guy shower" a month. "triple milled" isn't just something they print on the label, this company actually DOES it... I know because it doesn't "melt" like typical soap- or even like typical expensive soap. If you take a bath and leave it in the tub, you'll still have a bar of soap when you get out. The wood grain thing is just plain cool... it's not just on the surface either, it goes all the way through. The bars are larger than average as well.Now for my favorite part: I adore sandalwood. There are two versions: really good actual sandalwood and vague, chemically replicated sandalwood scent. This is REALLY GOOD sandalwood... The kind I can smell when one of my boys is in the shower or tub from down the hall. Yet, when they walk around during the day it doesn't hit you like a truck... It's a very pleasing aroma... It's the kind of smell you WANT to get closer to so you can smell it again. Many of my 19y.o. daughter's friends have made comments about one or the other of the boys' "cologne", and they'll ask what it is.For my boys, who are 13 and 18, THAT is enough in itself to want to use it, so it's just an added bonus that I get to smell the yumminess too.We haven't tried the other fragrances, but I plan to buy the Presidents set. I think it says something that this company has been in business long enough to have made soap for not only Kennedy but for Eisenhower AND FOR WASHINGTON... They must be doing something right.

Excellent scent, lasts a long time. Expensive, but you have decide if it is worth it. It is for me.

Soap doesn't dry skin and has very reasonable after-scent. If it was stronger it would be too much. The whole bathroom smells likes it when you shower. I wanted more sandalwood scent for the price - this very much reminds me of birch soap, just with a hint of sandalwood mixed in. Shape is slightly annoying and very droppable.

Somethings are worth spoiling yourself a bit. What you use on your skin should be the best, love the smell too.

This is a really good quality soap. I liked it so much I bought it twice over. It cleans well without drying out the skin too much, smells quite nice, has a nice lather, and so on.Unfortunately, a bar only lasts maybe a week longer than 'cheap' stuff that is a small fraction of the price by weight. I run through a bar in maybe three weeks taking one shower a day.Get it as a gift maybe, or keep some around for special occasions, but it's far too expensive for daily use.

I enjoyed the packaging as well as the great lasting smell and effect it has on women.The soap lasts longer than an average bar of soap lasts.Will definitely recommend this product to friends and family and anyone who likes to smell good. Oh yeah I do not need deodorant since where I work at is 10hrs a day and do warehouse work.

I love Caswell Massey soaps. They are such good quality and smell amazing.

I was looking for a high-quality, chemical-free luxury soap, and while this one checks the box for natural ingredients, the fragrance didn’t quite meet expectations—especially for the price ($36). It’s not terrible, but I was hoping for a richer, longer-lasting woodgrain sandalwood scent. The soap itself performs well and feels nice on the skin, but the fragrance is underwhelming for a premium product.
