Previous people have said on here that this charger will work with a Shark coordless vacuum, unless the vacuum has some type of model error or issue. That is completely false. This charger does not work with the Shark models that are perfectly fine. You have to have a specific charger with exact amps for lithium ion battery. After this charger didn't work and I returned it, I contacted shark and got a charger from them. Plugged it in and immediately started charging my battery, no problem or issues. So it's not a vacuum issue, simply put, this does not charge them. So don't waste your time if you're getting it for that reason. Go directly to Shark and get it (yes, pay about $10 more) and it will work with your unit.

I don't know why this would not work in charging the lithium battery for my Shark vacuum. I sent the first one back thinking it was a dud, got a second one back and it did not charge also. It wasn't until I found my original charger that I was able to charge the lithium battery again.

The cord I'm replacing has a square end so that it stays in the charing cradle as I snap the vacuum in and out. This one is round so does not stay put. I have to reach into the cradle (which is on the floor), grab this cord, and plug it in. It works, but it's a pain to use.

This charger is supposed to work with Shark Euro-Pro Pet Perfect II 2 SV780. It doesn't! The green charging light lights up but the unit won't charge. Waste of money.

I tried this on my shark vacuum and had to return it since it wasn't charging. It fit the input, but wouldn't charge. It was actually really difficult to get my money back, and the seller didn't reply to me for days.

This worked on a sv777. I do not presume to know the electronics involved or if there is some legal requirement why that model was not listed. For what its worth, though, I took a chance that it might work, and it it has worked for me.

This item did NOT charge my Shark animal portable vacuum even though it specifically said it did. Waste of time and money and I tried everything to make it work

The wire fit properly but after multiple tries it was not able fully charge the vacuum device. Ironically I found the original charger and used it to fully charge my vacuum so I know it was not the battery. I should return the item but it is an inconvenience to do so. Overall as an off brand product it did not work for me.
