Better used at the bottom of the film
I bought these quite a while ago and have only just now had the opportunity to use them. I used a sock dryer hung in the shower and clipped the film onto that with these clips attached at the bottom of each film. They have enough weight in them to keep the film taught. I find them perfect for the job and a lot cheaper than Paterson and the like.

Cheaper alternatives do same job.
Far too expensive for what they are. The gripping area is small and probably ok for 35mm but two would be required to allow 120 film to hang straight. Just as easy to use a small bulldog clip to hold clear part of film, or pop into local DIY store for something similar for half the price.
