I bought these as a way to adjust the height of an armchair for more comfortable seating at my desk for long periods of time without having to purchase an adjustable chair. It was genius, BUT you need to ensure that you're able to move the desk, not the chair. If I tried to move the chair, I would fall off the risers. I think it would be sturdier if there was a rubber bit on the top of the riser to keep the object in one place rather than sliding. Otherwise it's worked for what I needed.

Wasn’t sure whether talker or shorter risers would be needed, so this was a good option, and could even stack shorter ones on top of taller ones! Turned out the shorter ones did the trick - raised small dining table high enough for knees to finally fit under.

I ordered these risers to increase the height of a folding table I use as a cutting table for quilting and they are perfect! The taller height helps my back! I used the 5” for my table, and used the shorter ones for my bed so I can now put my suitcase under my bed and clear some much needed closet space. I liked the “adjustable” height option as these can be stacked and height increased to “8”. I am going to order another set for my guest bed to add storage space!

I purchased the Sealy Ease adjustable bed, plus a new Stearns and Foster mattress. Unfortunately, when they removed my box spring from my previous bed, this bed was quite lower. Something just did not feel right. So my quest began. I was so disappointed with my adjustable bed that I was going to just give it to someone. I also began having headaches, when I woke up. I thought if only I could lift my bed. For some reason, I woke up at three one morning and searched for information on raising a bed. Low and behold, so much in info came. I purchased these, they came yesterday, and we put them on. What a difference this has made! I do believe you should have two people doing this. On a side note, when I was searching for bed lifters, I came across something that mentioned about having headaches in the morning. I raised my adjustable bed about an inch or two to sleep on, and hark -- no headaches in the mornings!

I bought these risers for my son’s freshman dorm and liked them a lot. He’s a big guy so I was skeptical considering the mixed reviews but they held up fine to give him the extra space he needed under the bed. Full disclosure- we did do as another reviewer suggested and fill them with expanding foam to give us a little more peace of mind.

Maybe that's normal, but it's certainly wobbly. I'm going to return them and get a taller bed frame instead.

Purchased to elevate a sit-stand desk to a suitable height for a computer workstation when I'm standing. Desk and workstation weigh about 60kg and these supports work well for this application. I can't say either way how they'd go supporting a heavy bed with 1-2 people on top, or whether the plastic will degrade over time as it ages.
