This product was put in the bin very shortly after purchase, after cleaning out the cage it all fell to pieces, i feel thats enough said!

Few bad points, water bottle leaked, fidly to assemble & when you lift cage off base to clean it out it all just falls apart again

Fiddly clips holding cage together otherwise not a bad cage for a hamster.

Brilliant for a Roborovski hamster.First of all, people that are complaining should have read the dimensions. This cage is in no way suitable for a Syrian hamster or even a Russian dwarf. It is specifically suitable for 1-2 Roborovski hamsters or 1-2 mice. A larger hamster won't fit through the tubes, there isn't enough space and the wheel is not big enough. This is not a cage for the bigger pet.Now. My little Robo has been living in one of these for two years now and he loves it. He measures 1.5-2 inches long and is very tiny so he has a decent amount of space on both floors. Yes you can fit in some extra toys, he has a globe house up top, a cardboard tube, a plush reindeer nest (which can be bought on Amazon) a wheel on a stand, a sock sleeve toy, and a rainbow wooden bridge for fun and still has plenty enough room to get about. He adores this cage and is always up playing with his toys.I do recommend purchasing a wheel stand as with the thinner plastic of the cage and where it attaches it can be extremely loud. On a wheel stand it will not bother you at all.The depth of the tray allows a good thick bedding and a level of security. The tubes can be harder to fit together but if you put the rubber rings for them on a radiator they will soften and be easier to fit on. The bars are slatted down into the sides of the cage, it all fits together kind of like one of those toys you build as a kid and can be a bit fiddly but no more than any other cage. The box on the side also attaches securely with a ring and mine has never broken or fallen off, saying this, my hamster is very small and light.The water bottle does not leak and the food dish is quite a nice large size. To prevent water leaking, jolt the bottle when completely full, the ball is quite a good fit so it shouldn't be a problem. Leakage is normal for the first few days.The carry handle is good but always make sure the clips on the sides of the cage are down to prevent it from falling apart or your hamster getting hurt.I can honestly say I see absolutely no reason that tiny pets cannot live in this safely. As I said, Syrian hamsters or anything other than mice and Roborovski's are not going to fit in this cage, nor will they fit in the 3-storey one as the dimensions just aren't right for it. I have had my cage over two years now and it is not broken, does not appear to be cheap and have had no issues with it at all.

Way too small even for a roborovski hamster! Minimum dimensions for robos are 70cmx50cm and for Syrians it’s 80cmx50cm. Please avoid products like this and buy a Little Friends/Alaska/Zoozone instead!

Terrible! Top door broke off, almost impossible to clean, our hamster opened the side doors twice and escaped. Luckily he is so tame he came back and we found him. Had to buy a new cage.
