Works well and looks great- once you get the hang of installation
I used this for aesthetics on the base of a toilet that was installed poorly so I can’t speak to whether the product is water proof. The floor surface was uneven from a bad installation and I didn’t want to just use a ton of caulk to mask it. The tape went over any bumps and made the area look smooth and clean.Overall, the tape worked great. My only complaint is the poor instructions. As other reviews mention, if you’re going around corners, you’ll want to use a hair dryer to make it more pliable. You’ll also need to pull the tape tightly as you go around corners or else you’ll end up with bunching. Only pull the backing off once you have the tape lined up where you want it so it doesn’t stick to itself or make a mess. Other than that, it’s easy to use and worked great.

Still looking good almost a month later
Edit a year later, one star removed. I bought this again for the bath and it didn't work well. I waited for days to put it on the cleaned, dried surface. The seal may have been poor because there were dark spots showing through. I had to take the strip off and caulk. Too bad, it looked good at first. The potties still look alright, though. This does about as well as I had expected. As you can see here, after almost a month, the curved part of the tape started coming up only a little. This might be because of user error. To achieve the curve around the base, I had to heat as well as I could with the reach of my blow dryer and pull--not lay-- it around the base. This spot had the most heat applied so I suspect that the error may have been in just how much I pulled. I suggest being just a little more careful. I didn't heat the back part as well, so well see how well that stays with time. The new appearance of tape instead of just caulk was a little shocking to my husband who didn't see it before I put it on. Perhaps I could have used something a little thinner. But the potty looks tidier, even a little sturdier. I haven't used much cleaner near it not mopped with a very wet mop yet so I'm curious about how it will react. I'm not going to challenge it yet, though. Looks good for now!

No more water leaking downstairs
We used to get texts from the neighbors downstairs whenever someone would take a messy shower as the water would travel to the base of the toilet and into their own apartment. Found this and works as well as caulk, imo, and looks decent. Very adhesive. I expect this would be able to solve many leaky issues

Did not work for what I needed.
I thought this product would be a great solution for what I needed around my toilet in my garage, but did not work for what I needed. I could not get it to work in one piece around the base of the toilet because of the curvature. I could get it to stick to the floor in a oval pattern (the base of the toilet shape), but when it came to sticking it to the base of the toilet it bubbled up on the porcelain & would not lay down.

Very Poor Product
Problem is this does not stay attached. Goes on fine, looks good but seems to melt flat after a few showers. I totally cleaned the area, didn't use the shower for 3 days to make sure all was dry. Went on fine and looked good. A few showers later the tape detached from the wall and lay flat. Reattached fine but days later was again detached and laying flat. Back to the big box store.

Seems ok.
Installed this at the base of the tub after installing vinyl plank in the bathroom. This was easy to install. Adhesion was immediate and strong. I've only installed it 3 days ago so I can't speak to longevity, but initial results are good. Typically, these strips don't last for more than a few months, at the most, so, I'll likely have to replace it sooner than I will want to. I prefer to use this at the base of the tub instead of quarter round, which won't fit as well because my tub is not flat on the sides.

Did not last as long as I hoped
I bought this product after reading several reviews and had high hopes that it would work for us. When I initially put it in (after following the directions regarding using the hairdryer) it was great. Went on easy and stuck. But after a few weeks of using the shower, it came undone. I am really disappointed.

Holds better than the brand from the big box store
I tried this for 1 tub, because the old tape had long ago worn out. I was never very impressed with these, but for the price and effort, this one does hold better than what I used to use. So much so that I bought 1 for our second tub. It is worth a try. Be careful when applying and if you have a section that doesn't adhere well, reset it and use a hair dryer on it.
