Crochet Your Own Dolls & Accessories

An ok beginner book, but the dolls are not very impressive. I have 5 granddaughters ages 4-16 & they all love dolls for hugging, dressing, & collecting & they especially love hand made dolls!! (Go figure with all the hi-tech toys around there's still a market for good old fashioned hand made toys). These dolls are long & thin, not chunky & full. They weren't excited or impressed with these dolls at all, especially with so many other big dolls to choose from. The book does make a nice gift for beginners or as a reference tool.

I love it but there is a issue with doing the first coat it does not appear to make any sense to me. I restart it several time the amount of SC don't match I wish someone could tell me what I am doing wrong .

So I got this book to make a doll for a friend of mine. The patterns are easy to read very well written. The doll looks exactly like the photos provided. This was a great little project book and I mixed and matched items from the different dolls.

Very cute "magazine" and dolls, the patterns should be easy to follow if you're familiarized with the stitches in English. The pictures that illustrate it are also great. I can't wait to get all the stuff needed to crochet all four dolls!

One of my favorite things to make, dolls for the grandkids, This book does not dissapoint, very well written, and fun to make, with a wee bit of imagination you can come up with quite a wardrobe.

i have made loads of these now. the pattern is so easy to follow, there are no difficult bits and no mistakes in the pattern. the dolls are beautiful when finished and loved by everyone who sees them. i am going to sell them on a craft stall. highly recommended to new crocheters and old lags like me who wanted a change of design.

I thought i would have a go at making some dolls for my nices , and this is a great book with 3 patterns and clothes .Very clear intructions , would recommend

Not a project for in front of the telly, need to keep know where one is in the pattern. But have used the basic pattern to make an RNLI shore crew member which turned out very well. Now working on a inshore lifeboat crew member.

I have worked 2 things from this booklet so far and found them very easy to follow! looking forward to the next one
