Green Clear are a Premium Brand UV Bulb, Not to be Confused with many cheaper versions on the market! UV lamps used for sterilisation purposes should be replaced every 6 months ( approx 4000 hours) Lamps used for clarification of ponds can be replaced every 6-12 months ( approx 8000 hours) When changing UV lamp we recommend that Quartz Sleeve is cleaned at same time. These Replacement UV bulbs are not for aquarium use, unless fitted inside canisters filters with a UV, or fitted in an inline enclosed UV Filter. We recommend fitting these to Enclosed Fish Pond clarifiers only. (please be aware not to look at any UV bulbs with the naked eye, as it will cause harm)
