Does the job!
I was starting to see clothes/carpet moths in the house. So I decided to try these traps and see if I could get on top of the problem before any damage done. I put a trap in each room and the wardrobe. Within a couple of weeks there were moths caught - and after a month I stopped seeing any moths around the house. Then over the next couple of months you would find the odd extra moth in the trap. I have just replaced my original traps after 6 months as I have started to see the odd moth about the house again. Some tips I found elsewhere on how to use the traps - don't have more than one trap too close together - that can confuse the moths and so not drawn to the trap. Don;t use lavendar or other smells that are deterrants near the trap ( I read one review where they said they had no smell and no smell of lavender - it is not a smell we detect, so the traps are odourless to us!!!). If you use lavender or citronella nearby - the repellant will stop them going near the trap. Defeats the object - either deter or trap - you cannot do both!In addition, if you use strong smelling things in the house - carpet cleaners, air fresheners, strong smellling detergants for your clothes - then I am sure this will be overpowering for the trap. Because my mother had chemical sensitivity, and my sister, asthma -we do not use strong chemicals and avoid strong fragrances - so that may be why these traps have worked very well. Some of the fragrances may not deter the moths, but it may confuse them for finding the sticky trap as opposed to nice munchable carpets or clothes!!!Anyway these traps certainly meant more moths on the trap than in amongst my handmade woollen jumpers! And for that I am very happy!!!!

Almost works
Attracts the moths, but not sticky enough to trap them - even a freshly opened new trap. Marginally effective.

Visual check to see if treatment has worked
Stopped any further carpet damage from moths. Easy to place and keeps a check on moths that are secretive and difficult to spot until the carpet damage is noticeable. I sprinkled bicarbonate of soda first then sprayed vinegar on top followed by steaming🤞

LOOKS NICE, COMPLETELY USELESS THOUGH!
These moth traps are nicely packaged with recycled materials and a lot of thought has clearly gone into product design and marketing. However, the point of a moth trap is to actually trap moths which this product excels at being completely and utterly useless at.No smell of lavendar, barely any stick and the pheramones i'm sure actually repel the moths rather than attract them.Honestly just catch them in a glass and liberate the moths outside. 5 minutes doing that is far more effective than a week with these traps!
