ThuleRoundTrip Boot Backpack

I chose the unpackaged $99 backpack option. When it arrived, it was only wrapped in a cardboard box, but inside the bag, there was a lot of glitter. This bothered me a bit, as I spent an hour wiping away the glitter inside the bag. Apart from this issue, the backpack functions very well.

At about 22" tall, this Thule pack is physically large. It easily fits all my snow gear and more. Design is well thought out with dedicated compartments for boots, goggles and helmet. The padded top compartment with soft lining for the google pocket is a nice feature. The bottom and sides of the boot compartment is lined with a tarp-like material for waterproofing. But there is no waterproofing between this and the large "front" compartment. So within the front compartment, I found it best to keep outer wear against this shared "wall". Otherwise, this pack appears well made and the materials seem very durable. The only downside to having such a large pack is finding room to store the pack itself in the offseason. Keeping all the gear permanently stored in it may be the best solution. Overall, an excellent pack.

There's not much to dislike about this clever boot hauler. Outside of some questionable side-zipper designs which merely take some use to become familiar with, the storage on this thing will surprise you. The helmet/goggle stowage is terrific, never requiring the user to shove, flip or otherwise stuff your brainshell because of the sideways-placement. Simple, smart. Boots, of course, slide right in and leave space for whatever else you want to bring along. I'm growing more attached to this bag the more I use it, and it's a great way to bring gear from your rig to the lodge and back. Psyched on it.

I did not know that Thule had other products but I do know that their bike racks are amazing so I tried this and I am glad I did.The bag is HUGE - it has a pocket for your helmet, one for boots and then a bunch of other pockets for the rest of your gear.Super comfy to wear, it sits like a backpack does.Great quality - clean zippers, I love this thing.

Very huge bag and good quality bag, i can fit a lot of shirt and pants with this bag.Quality is top notch zipper is good quality and thick material on the outside of the bag.Very happy with the quality of this bag and im so glad that i got this bag and I can’t wait to bring it with me on my next south east asia vacation trips.
