Good grinding power. We had success with it until we put a too-frozen chunk thru. This broke the plastic gear on the auger worm. Unfortunately, Huntrite does not sell a replacement part, either for the plastic gear alone or for the auger worm, or them as a set. The manufacturer is not being honest/transparent when they say parts are available. The only parts that are available are blades, trays, and plates. No internal parts.

Internal gears broke down the second year I used it. Loud grating sound, then machine shut off.At the time I was attempting to grind coarse ground venison to fine ground. I had been using machine for 30 minutes only. Don't purchase this product.

Hi, Do you provide parts for this model!? I need the metal Worm Gear/Auger & Auger plastic gear.It is great product but You need to provide its parts like other brands!

second use the gears snapped, replacements not available

I've had mine for a few years, it always worked great until the plastic gear on the grinding head stripped. It would be a simple replacement if the part was available. Alas, there is no part available for purchase, so my grinder is currently in the trash bin.

hi, during the second use, the auger driven gear broke. No part number available. The replacement auger has been redesigned and does not fit the drive gear on the motor. Do not purchase this grinder.
