This worked great for a family calendar solution. We had an extra iPad and I’m using it to display the calendar for the whole family. Sadly, I have to lock it down because my kids are addicted to screens and they would take it to their rooms and watch YouTuve all night if they could.

This mount is very heavy. This was a bit of a surprise to me. That being said, it felt secure when mounted. There is room to adjust for varying tablet sizes (within a specific range). It is lockable which is a great feature. I do wish there were better options for routing a power supply to the tablet through the mount. In addition, I am surprised that the home button on the iPad is covered when installed. Although, this makes the tablet look better in the mount, it compromises usability. Access, to any other buttons and ports is also compromised.

The design of this thing is totally flawed. Put together, it's an attractive and secure option but you'll NEVER be able to get it together, and IF you succeed, you have to basically pull it apart again to charge it. No thanks.You can't mount the iPad until the base of the mount is on the wall, which would be fine if there was an inner frame to actually hold it in place. Instead, you're holding the ipad in place with one hand, holding the front frame in place with the other, and trying to secure the frame (hardly would hold it even if successful) with, I don't know, your 3rd hand? Made more impossible in that the bolts to hold the thing together don't fit the bolt holes, or the threading is wrong, or something. Avoid this thing at all costs.

This wall mount for Apple tablets is very, very heavy. If you have a good place to hang it and available studs that is fine, but I'm not too sure about hanging it on wallboard even with the appropriate hardware.If you're looking for a wall mounted display that will protect your tablet, this will definitely work. Just be careful where you install it.

I am using this as a Home Assistant Kiosk near my front door.This works great for this purpose.I can also see how this would be perfect for a kiosk mode in a public place because they would have to rip it off the wall to get this down, so it is very secure as well.

Very well made mount! Super sturdy! It has a lot of nice features. Unfortunately, it’s not going to work for every ipad.. especially some old ones I had lying around that I wanted to re-purpose. Make sure your ipad will fit before ordering. It comes with a variety of adaptor plates so most newer iPads and tablets will work in it. It is almost all made of metal and has a very nice finish on it. I’m impressed with the look and feel of it. I just wish it would have worked for my super old iPads.. I will keep it until the next refresh and my current ipad will fit in it perfectly. If you own a business this would be perfect for an ipad you want to protect.
