Yes these egg cups can be used with hard boiled eggs, soft boiled eggs and even raw eggs. The vendor claims these egg cups are "Perfect for hard-boiled as well as soft-boiled eggs." I think claiming perfection is a bit much, these egg cups are good but at nearly £2.25 each are expensive. To my mind, this detracts from perfection. The vendor's copywriter has worked hard to make something ordinary seem special. Look at the sentence "Make your breakfast more enjoyable with this porcelain egg cup set of 4 from Apollo Housewares." is a good try but it doesn't say more enjoyable than what. It is more enjoyable than being bitten by a dog for example but less enjoyable than spending an evening with Taylor Swift. In conclusion and excuse me for writing with my mouth full, these are good egg cups but not perfect.

An egg cup is an egg cup ! These do the job. And will fit with any plain white tableware as the design is simple and functional.

Not for me purchased as a gift the recipient is pleased. As yet not used.

Not worth a money. Too small!

Not the style I wanted but I am cheap and these were the right price (I prefer the flat bottom column ones to the stem ones).I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these, nice and stable on the plate and hold a medium sized egg very nicely. I suspect they would be okay for a small hens egg but pretty much useless for a large one.Easy to clean too - even after a dippy egg "incident" that I couldn't wash up there and then so it just sat caked in eggy goo all day but it wiped right off the glazed surface (something I have had a problem with in the past - I am an over enthusiastic solider dunker!).Pretty basic but the pure white ceramic means they will match any crockery you prefer to use. Great price point and don't come with reams of unnecessary packaging (small plastic box with dividers to stop them impacting on each other during shipping. Delivered in a large box with a number of other items - one being a toaster - and no damages.

Standard little egg cups, not much to say! They clean easy, and seem sturdy- they've been dropped once or twice and haven't so much as chipped. I've also put them through the microwave on a couple of occasions to warm them a bit and there's been no problems there. Great for what they are.
