Abuelita Full of Life: Abuelita Ilena de vida

This universally heart-warming story featuring 'old' and 'young' main characters, female and male. While the exact the scenarios in the story may not be universal, the sentiments created by the book's events are universal. I speak and read both Spanish and English and the translations are good. Recommend this to all who enjoy good children's literature.

The book was a gift for my grandson who lives in a different state. He is 6 and an avid reader. The bilingual books are new to him but a welcome challenge as he has been reading since age 3. He wants more!

One of the best bilingual books out there!

Loved that our granddaughter who is taking Spanish can now share some of her learnings with her Abuelita!

While I like the simplicity of the message of this book, I wonder how many modern Latina Abuelita's would identify with the one portrayed here. She is stereotypical and in no way resembles my 86 year old mother in law, who moved in with us and was the reason I purchased this book for my young daughters.

This book is considered one of my favorites now! I am happy to own a copy of this beautiful story! Thank you very much!
