Green Clear are a Premium Brand UV Bulb, Not to be Confused with many cheaper versions on the market! UV lamps used for sterilisation purposes should be replaced every 6 months ( approx 4000 hours) Lamps used for clarification of ponds can be replaced every 12 months ( approx 8000 hours) When changing UV lamp we recommend that Quartz Sleeve is cleaned at same time. These Replacement UV bulbs are not for aquarium use. Pond clarifiers only. (please be aware not to look at any UV bulbs with the naked eye)

GREEN POND WATER.
I've give a 4 star rating, however yet to see if this clears my green pond water , the one it replaced was cheaper and seemed to only last just over three months before the pond water returned to green again, this has been in for just over a week, and I can now see the fish just below the surface, so it looks like this may do the job, the service was good and item arrived before time.

The bulb i was sent worked but was not the brand advertised
The bulb seems to work and is of reasonable build quality. Will updaste review when I find out how long it lasts.

Works well
I tend to replace the lamps once a year since they are only in operation for about 8 months of the year. This one has worked well and helped to keep the water clear. Will have to wait until we have some prolonged spells of sun to see how well it is really doing.

Lovely clear Pond Water.
We have tried various UV tubes from garden centers & have not been 100% satisfied,however these Green Clear are amazing,clear the water very quickly & are cheaper than others we have purchased. We have never been able to see the bottom of our pond @ this time of year or the tiny baby fish,so we are ever hopeful we will get to see the Newts this year.Thankyou a very worth while product will always use this product in the future.
