Green Clear are a Premium Brand UV Bulb, Not to be Confused with many cheaper versions on the market! UV lamps used for sterilisation purposes should be replaced every 6 months ( approx 4000 hours) Lamps used for clarification of ponds can be replaced every 12 months ( approx 8000 hours) When changing UV lamp we recommend that Quartz Sleeve is cleaned at same time. These Replacement UV bulbs are not for aquarium use. Pond clarifiers only. (please be aware not to look at any UV bulbs with the naked eye)

Great service
One of the bulbs came smashed which I suspect will be carelessness on the part of the courier, but the seller quickly replaced with no trouble at all. Product as described. Highly recommend.

Tight fit... too tight
Very tight fit inside quartz sleeve on my yamitsu kockney koi 55w system. Would only go inside quartz sleeve from one end. No chance other end. Had problems with the system, took the lamp out & tried to re fit but cracked the end of the quartz sleeve which is more expensive to replace. Yamitsu recommend Phillips lamp

Robust & Works!
I always find these things a real fiddle to replace - probably due to the low down location of my uv filter! Despite all my jiggling and twisting this bulb remained intact and is working perfectly....good price too.
