I already own a number of Neewer devices and accessories, and have complete confidence in their products and their product support. Their Cold Shoe Monitor Mount is no exception, it’s a simple device and it does what it’s supposed to do: hold a monitor.The monitor mounts are solid, in fact the various components that comprise its assembly appear to be milled out of solid pieces of aluminum. The spacers between the body and the tilting platform are brass and the tension of the tilt is adjustable using the supplied allen wrench, as is that of the swivel. The supplied allen wrench can also serve as extra leverage via the insert holes on the knurled tightening knob of the 1/4" screw at the monitor and those of the lever at the cold shoe mounting fixture.In my case, I had to loosen up both the swivel, using the screws underneath the cold shoe and at the fulcrum of the tilt; they were too firm the way I received them.Both the cold shoe clamp and the tilt clamp are solid and immovable when secured. The platform of the mount, where a monitor is attached, is rubber coated and there is a spring-loaded locating/anti-twist pin next to the 1/4" screw.The Neewer Camera Monitor Mount with a Cold Shoe attachment is a well-made, light weight and handy accessory that performs its function flawlessly.

Purchased on 04-24-2024 for $13.99.This cold shoe adapter is designed well with user-friendly features, and its all-metal construction should make this durable.What initially caught my eye was the prominent wing-like nut that fastens the shoe onto the hot/cold shoe base. No thumb wheel that's hard to grip and turn.If you've used basic, no-frills hot/cold shoe adapters, you know how difficult it can be to get your big, fat fingers on a standard thumb wheel, then tighten it SECURELY, then be able to remove that TIGHT nut quickly. If you're like me, it ain't happening quickly or easily.Those wide wings make it so much easier to grip and turn with plenty of torque. No more muttering of choice words from being frustrated when using small thumb wheels. No more thumb wheel that you thought you had tightened enough working itself loose and needing to be re-tightened.The wing screw on the side adjusts the tension for the tilt action. Out of the box, the tilt movement was still very tight even after loosening the wing screw, so I had to adjust the Allen screw on the opposite end to reduce the resistance to my liking.The thumb wheel for the 1/4"-20 has deep, diagonally crosshatched knurls for good finger traction to turn it easily to attach or remove an accessory. Should you want more tightening torque, there are holes on the side of the wheel to insert the included Allen wrench as a leverage arm.The advertised 360° swivel (panning) is not very practical. In order to make it swivel, the Allen screw at the base of the shoe isn't tightened fully at the factory. And because the screw is countersunk, it means that the mount must be removed off of the shoe base for any dampening adjustment, plus you have to have the Allen wrench with you. Not exactly quick and convenient.For me, I don't need panning, so I tightened the Allen screw to lock it in a fixed position.Although I currently don't have a need for the locating/anti-twist pin, it's good to have in case I do get an accessory with a locating hole. The pin is spring-loaded and does sink if pressed, so it won't be in the way if an accessory being attached doesn't have a hole.This gizmo makes it so much easier to attach or detach accessories on the shoe base. I highly recommend it. You'll be happy you got it.

Bien construit, solide . La clenche pour maintenir le moniteur sur la caméra est bien penser. Facile à serrer sur le socle de l'attache de la caméra.
