The same company makes another version that is more narrow. This 7.5 inch wide version is perfect for picking up dog poop. It is sturdy and just about the same dimensions as the bags that our newspapers come in. It is long enough to store two poops in if desired. I will buy it again when the current ones run out. Much better, in my opinion, than the bags custom made for dog poops. They seem too wide, at least a relatively small dog such as ours.

I use this to put my hand in to pick up dog poop and put in another bag for trash. Keeps the smell and issues away.

Have mouse glue traps at the cabin. I use these to dispose of the traps without having to touch the trap. Just put my hand all the way to the bottom of the bag, pick up the trap, pull the open end of the bag back over my hand, tie it off and dispose of it. Voila!
