Green highly visible on target
This laser makes target acquisition easier with the bright green laser which is highly visible in daylight and ever more in darkness. Zeroed in one using a bore laser site and handled recoil well and held zero.

Great Device for Night Use or when darkness doesn't allow for iron sight use!!
Used my laser at the range, after zeroing it. It was just what I needed for target shooting at close distance, 3,5, and 7 yds during night shooting. Installation was not difficult, just need to make sure the slots are perfectly set on the grip. Battery installed perfectly. Just take your time connecting the right and left side of the laser to the contour of the trigger guard. Do not overtighten the small allen wrench screws when connecting both sides of the laser guard. When zeroing the laser, start at 3 yds, and just make small 1/8 to 1/4 turns on the windage and elevation screws, until you find your preferred adjustment, just on top of the front sight post, with the rear sights evenly balanced with the front sight. Now use your laser as your sight, and shoot a 5-shot group. Adjust your laser to that shot group if needed. Repeat the 5 shot group again to make sure the laser falls onto that shot group, then adjust again if necessary. Once your shot group is formed on and around the laser dot, you're good to go for testing at 5 yds, and then 7 yds. View youtube videos on zeroing in your crimson trace LG-469. Good Luck!!

Surprised by the inconsistant performance
Well the item was rec'd timely as usual. However after a very easy install and alignment process I returned it because it just stopped activating after some use. Initially it failed to activate randomly for extremely short periods but then they became more frequent and for longer periods so I returned it. This occurred on and off the range. The return was flawless as usual and the replacement started the same thing at the range today. You must be able to depend on your laser to activate period! Not doing so is totally unacceptable Given that CT is the Cadillac of this type of optic I am both disappointed and surprised. I have reached out to customer service twice but have had no response from submitting their form.

Great product, watch for loose battery contact
I have a similar laser on my Kahr PM9 and it still works flawlessly after 4 years and thousands of rounds later. When I upgraded my conceal to XDs, this was the most logical choice. I like Crimson Trace over other products because of the fact that I don't have to worry about pressing buttons to turn on the laser. First the Pros:Well made, easy assembly, fits the gun well, holds zero after almost 500 rounds of .45 ACP on a very compact gun. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the battery contacts were not tight making the laser going in and out. If you run into this situation, simply bend the contact a little bit downward to achieve a firm fit. Oh, and make sure to clean the laser after range time or you'll end up with a barely visible dot.

Great lazer sight, but.
I love Crimson Trace. I have one on my Bersa Thunder 380, and also one on the Springfield XDs 9mm. The only reason I did not rate it five stars is because it does not have a on off power switch. Other than that, it is wonderful. Number one, if you are shooting in bright light and do not need the laser, why waste the battery power. Number two you have to be careful when cleaning the gun, or just showing it to someone that the laser get directed toward your eyes, or someone else's. Even with the slide off, the laser will turn on. It is easy at that time to shine it into someone's eyes while you are cleaning it.

Better then Night Eyes
I was somewhat surprised by the material used and the space over the light. But once it is all assemble I'm a believer. I own two weapons with lights. One is this XDs with CT, and a Sig with a Streamlight. attached to the rail. I have to say the CT overall is the better way to go. As can be expected the Streamlight lights up my front yard or back yard, the CT is lighter, concealable and once sighted in accurate. Better in no light or low light conditions as well, especially for older eyes. The one beef I have is the price to value, I would like to see the price come down on these as I would add to other weapons if they did. One final note the shipping and packaging was outstanding from Big Rock.

I REALLY love this site!
I love this site! When you install it(Which takes 5 minutes) it looks like it's part of the gun. It just looks like it belongs, not like the others that are a block hanging off the bottom, the lines match the gun perfectly. There are Left/Right - Elevation adjustments to zero it in and it turns on automatically when you grip the gun normally which is REALLY nice.Crimson Trace is running a promotion "Free Batteries for life" Just register it on their site for your warranty, (takes less than a minute) and they will replace the batteries free, TO YOUR DOOR, for life. They are a great company to deal with. Also, if you average about 50 rounds/Month through your gun you will get about a year out of your battery.
