This works as expected! And super easy to use. Worked on both our tundra and 4Runner. Don’t be a dirtbag and return it after you used it for what you needed. The money spent to do the few changes I was able to do is well worth it. Order the unit, get a month subscription, I did a year bc it’s on special, and then just hold on to it. Don’t return it with a lame excuse. This product should be non returnable if you cut the tape. It works as expected.

Worked on 2025 Camry SE to remove seatbelt chime. It still chimes when starting the car, and the light still flashes, but the chime does not continue to ding repeatedly while driving. Also worked to extend lane change signal duration. I paid $45 for this then $15 for one month of their subscription, but will cancel it once I get everything the way I want it. I guess I’ll have to pay another $15 if I want to make more changes after a month.

If you don't mind paying extra to use it its fine. Honestly the thing isn't worth the price considering it's useless without paying $60 a year, $30 for three months, or $15 per month (auto renewing also).The adapter should be free or under $10 considering you can't use it without paying after the fact. Also canceling a subscription is a PITA and I couldn't find the cancelation info without contacting carist directly. Be aware before you purchase.

Has limited functions but that is due to vehicle. A bit slow but works as advertised. Fee for using it is somewhat high.

Worked on my 2022 RX Lexus and my husbands 2025 Toyota Camry. Different options each car but each had the ability to disable seat belt chimes and many more options. 7 blinks vs 3 for lane changes, volume of blinkers, what sensitivities for auto headlights and parking assistance volumes, sensitivities. Key fob hold vs single, double press. Lots more. Anyway, cost of unit here plus a month of service, $16.25 after tax and set up our cars. Cancelled service so I don’t get a surprise in a month. If I offer around to friends and family can maybe even knock the entry price down further. Definitely keeping the device. Kind of factored that in after verifying our cars were able to program and cut the void return tape. Good tool! Buy it on sale here or the carista website, depending on who has the sale and purchase a month subscription. No need to buy more than that unless you work at the dealership. Even then mechanics rarely talk to customers. Fleet mechanics don’t usually work on Toyota or Lexus so kind of a limited market but well worth the purchase, imho.

This is the second Carista I've had and it's well worth it. Of course it reads and clears codes, but on my Toyota Tundra I cancelled the annoying seat belt chime, changed the quick lane change directionals from three flashes to four, made changes to the key fob operation and a few other things. If you have the JBL system you can also get rid of the silly fake V8 sound, well worth it. The best part is that you get a free month's subscription which you can cancel after you make your mods, but you can renew it at any time. These seem to work with Toyotas as well as anything.

Does change programming for truck. Also probably useful in future for code reading and resetting maintenance recommendations. However, company advertised 1 month free with sign up. I paid thru Apple and cancelled after 3 days.Company still placed charge a week later. Will try to see if module still works as I was supposed to get a month free. After filing complaint with Apple, charge was refunded, but system was also inactivated. Waiting for response from comppany to honor free month.

This thing is great. I payed the14.99 for the one month subscription but only needed an hour to Change what I wanted on three vehicles. I have a 2024 4th gen Toyota Tacoma 4x4 a 2019 Toyota Highlander and a 2017 Toyota Corolla. I removed all of the annoying seatbelt chimes and the fake motor sound that came thru my speakers on my Tocama. It’s very easy to change your settings with this device. It honestly works like it should.
