The honey was thick, rich and flavorful. The taste of the meadowfoam came through strong and clear. Meadowfoam is a touch more expensive then other honeys but this was a treat.

This honey is awesome. At this time it's my favorite specialty honey. They say it has a marshmallow after taste and this is very true. This honey comes from nectar of the meadowfoam plant which is native to California and Oregon. It has white flowers when it blooms that look like foam floating on the waters of the ocean when the wind blows through it. It is a very unique honey and if you make mead you should definitely try it. It is expensive @ 20$ a pound. Unless making a traditional mead most meadmakers use it for backsweetening.

We absolutely love this honey, it is thick and sweet and has a toasted sugar flavor to it. I use it in my coffee in the morning and it’s the perfect sweetener and flavor addition without all the artificial junk in creamers and flavored sweeteners

I spoke with Dave about his store and Meadowfoam honey via email and he gave me some info about it, so I decided to try this honey and I'm glad I did! By far, this is easily the best honey I've ever had! It had a vanilla taste with flavors on par with cotton candy and some caramel notes. I bought this exclusively for making Mead and ever since I found out about this varietal, I've wanted to try some. Dave is a terrific seller and delivery was very fast (plus everything came undamaged and in great condition in sturdy plastic bottles). I cannot stress how high quality this honey is, it's certainly worth the money if you want something you can taste. I'm already planning my next batch so I can brew some more mead with this amazing product. Meadowfoam is the real deal and I plan on buying more moving forward! Thanks Again Dave!!!

Read someone raving about this type of honey. Bought it to taste and while it is smooth, creamy, very fresh, a little runnier than most, pleasant flower notes, and all the other things you would want in a honey, it's nothing weird or unusually special. Just good honey.

I do NOT like the taste of honey but my DR says it's great for a health ailment I suffer from. Decided to give this a shot and I really really like it. No. I love it! I even have a little spoonful when I crave something sweet. Yay!

The complexity of this honey is very interesting very sweet with a hint of vanilla and caramel (that's what I get with it) definitely going to brew something good with it.
