SO MUCH FUN!
There are many reasons that I enjoy this workout:1. The pace of the live, cool jazz music. I like the feeling and the way the musicians responded to the dance movements. I do not like frenetic paced workouts.2. The easy, effective dance movements. I do not like a lot of intricate steps in my workouts. I like the way Karen Gayle picked up the pace instead of adding intricate movements.3. This is a whole-body TONING dance workout that is easy but will make you SWEAT! Nice warm-ups and cool-downs. Beginners and overweight folks can do this.4. The cueing of the instructor, Karen Gayle was excellent. She seems knowledgeable and I appreciated the diversity in the her class. Her voice was pleasant. I hope she does more DVDs.5. It is a good deal. You get 2 DVDs with a total of 6 workouts plus 6 separate "core movement" sections where JB Bearns and Karen explain the movements you will be making in the following workout. The the dance studio setting was very classy.I am really happy with this purchase!

Not an Urban rebounder workout
Why oh why, when I plugged in Urban Rebounding CD did I wind up with a DANCE CD? because the author is JB Berns? Why is it labeled REBOUNDER when you don't even use a rebounder? It's dance moves; very misleading. PS/SO - I ordered Urban Rebounding System Compilation #1.....but that's not a workout either so why the description includes COMPILATION? It is confusing because it's just an introduction to moves and a warmup. So I'm on to finding the correct description of a CD that will give me a basic workout on a trampoline.

Nothing to do with the Urban Rebounder - very misleading!
I bought this DVD specifically for the Urban Rebounder. Very disappointed! Only showed commercials for what was available. The dance compilation was a waste of time. Now I missed my time to return.

Great video for someone completely out of shape
This video is very low impact and I was surprised when I began to sweat. It worked me but did not wear me down. I am not in good enough shape right now to say that I was energized but it felt good. Yes the lead talks too much but I found the cues very useful for this video. When I get the routine down I may just turn the volume on mute and use my ipod. However, for now I can anticipate a change in direction or pace and am not stumbling around like an idiot in my living room trying to re-capture the "groove" of the routine.

Will be good later
I bought this as an alternative to my regular workouts. Reviews I read on other sites said this is a very basic beginning video with 10 core moves incorporated in many different dance sequences. This is true. However, there are two moves that involve lunging or knee bends in a way that I'm not comfortable doing. The mat workout is good as long as you have a thick pad to work on. I hope these DVDs will be of use to me later when I weigh less and I'm not worried about torquing my knees.
