These are great, but...
These will work for my purposes, but they were not what I was searching for. I put in a search for Sterilite model #1928, and these came up. They LOOK exactly like the ones I have, but are not. Different model number, which is not listed in the description, and different size, although close, to the ones I have. So, please be careful, and fully read the item description, and ask questions if you're not sure.

Perfect for what I need
These are the perfect size to store garage stuff. The boxes aren't too big to handle and their not too little to make you feel like you can only put one item in them. Nice and clear. Good plastic, snaps shut nicely. If you don't overstuff and they are not in direct sunlight to weaken the plastic they are perfect to store garage items neatly.

Oooooo.....Nice Storage Bins
I just opened this up fresh from delivery and I was extremely pleased right from the beginning. The plastic is nice and sturdy feeling and the lids clip-on securely so they won't be falling off like my old sterilite bins do. These are really generous size so I'll be able to get lots of stuff in them and finally get my apartment organized! These containers will fit on most closet shelves, etc.Note to people who haven't purchased sterilite previously: it's a pretty brittle plastic and will not withstand any sharp shocks or drops on a hard floor. It'll crack and shatter quite easily if you do that; otherwise, it will hold up for years. And it doesn't make that nasty allergenic dust that cardboard boxes do when used for storage.

It is a plastic box
It’s a plastic box, nothing more nothing less. 🙃

They work.
These are not the sturdiest of containers, but they're OK. They'll hold a lot. I wouldn't put a lot of weight in them and I certainly wouldn't stack them with the heaviest weight on top. They seal nicely. I think their best purpose would be for storing clothes and bedding. If you plan on filling them up and leaving them alone for a period, great. If you're going to be opening and closing them a lot and, say, moving them in and out of the car, I'd be careful. They don't seem built for that kind of use.

Buyer beware... 6 bins, 5 tops?
Although the bins are fairly decent for the price, I was surprised to open the box and find six bins and only five tops. That basically makes one of the bins completely useless. I messaged the seller to see if it was possible to mail the one top, and they could only offer two options because they were “sold out,” but they’re clearly not sold out because I can buy a whole new set here... The two options were to return the whole set for a refund or receive an $8 discount. I have to say I’m disappointed with the outcome, but the bins themselves aren’t bad for the price point. I certainly wouldn’t have paid $10 a piece for 5, though, since they’re relatively thin plastic ($10 a piece for basically 5 whole bins...)

Maybe not fair to give 4 stars instead of 5...
...however, I thought I had purchased the same storage bins I ordered a month prior. These have a narrower bottom than last months purchase so I'm not happy about that. So, make your own decision...you can say these are worthy of 5 stars but I gave them 4 based on the shape.

does not seal longitudinal edges with lid
does not seal longitudinal edges with lid... like not even close. leaves about an inch gap between lid and bin
