Ordered the king size gas-lift version with 5 foot headboard, and took a punt on the mattress after reading other reviews. Company kept me updated with delivery time/date, but was surprised only one bloke turned up to deliver it, so ended up helping him carry some of the (heavy) parts into the house, otherwise he was only going to leave them outside the house so he could take a proof photo of delivery!Although there aren’t that many parts, was quite complicated as the assembly instructions are really bad, and once I sussed it out, was amazed it took so long as it should have been quite easy, given there are relatively few parts to put together. Better assembly instructions should be provided.Enough of the downers, as I have to say this bed is truly fantastic! Completely solid once assembled, with no squeaks, rattles or movement in the frame. Looks fantastic in situ, and the 5 foot headboard makes it look like a much more expensive bed (similar versions in National bed stores cost up to 3 or 4 times more).The mattress is superb for the cost, given the king size was under £200, and much more comfortable than a branded double I bought, costing 4 times as much!! It’s firm but not too hard, very little movement when the other-half moves or turns, and after the first night getting used to a different bed/mattress, have slept soundly.If you’re looking for a superb bed, with a real luxury look and feel, at great value, look no further, this really does fit the bill.

Sturdy bed and mattress. Really worth it and the driver was really professional. Arrived on time and was installed quickly. Will definitely recommend.

The bed is beautiful looking very lovely in my guest room. The delivery was fast and the installation guys was very polite and helpful, they turned up early in the morning. I would buy again

The bed itself is fab! very sturdy and is exactly like the image. I would not recommend building this bed yourself it took me and my boyfriend over 6 hours as the instructions are very minimal due to showing just 3 images and hardly any guidance. There were missing screws that were required. Overall the mattress is great and a good quality bed!

I must say that I’m highly impressed about the quality of north beef and mattress. I am now able to comfortably sleep on my super king bed with more space. I love the storage with a board beneath it to save space in my room. It’s definitely worth the price. Although the bed was not delivered on the expected date which I wasn’t happy initially but the delivery guys kept me updated and they were really professional in setting up everything up for me in my room.I would definitely recommend this bed.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered king-size bed and mattress Astra head band ands gas left You can see in the picture the bed is very beautiful I love my purchase I will recommend this for anyone and is very strong the driver helped me to bring it upstairs and buildings or add them together he was very nice if u are looking for a bed please buy this u will not regret yes I will buy is again if I need bed in the future 👍🤩🥰🥰

Our bed arrived before the delivery date which we were really pleased about. I had received a telephone call a couple of days prior to delivery to check delivery day was ok and another call on the day with an estimated arrival time. We had ordered an ottoman bed with a teal coloured base and headboard. We had chosen to put the bed together ourselves. The instructions were a bit vague but not too difficult to work out. The bed looks and feels lovely. The colour is gorgeous. The lifting mechanism works perfectly even with our very heavy mattress. We are extremely pleased with our bed, it was very good value for money and would recommend.
