Man, oh man. Are these glasses amazing! Easy to set up. Literally all you do is open the package, insert the batteries, download the Chemion app, power it on (which also puts the glasses in discovery mode for the app), and you're all set. The app is sooooo easy to use. All the different designs are instantly transferred via the app to the glasses. It literally takes the tap of the finger and the design is on the glasses! The app as easy as it is to use it's also a little vague to when it actually comes to designing your OWN designs. Luckily it's just a little trial and error to figuring out how to make your own designs. You're gonna have to know a little about how animating works in order to make your own cool designs though. Luckily, if you're bad at drawing in general. The app has its' own dedicated community where you can download other people's creations and use them on your glasses right away. To my knowledge, these glasses are their first of its' kind with how sophisticated it is. The animations on the designs are all highly detailed animations depending on the person's ability to be able to draw and animate. The one and only cons I could find with the glasses is that the frame is huge, but this is a good thing because it gives creators of designs a bigger canvas to work with and the one other con I could find is that it lacks cushioning on the nose piece. Not sure if it will be an issue in the long run though.

My son absolutely loves these. He’s gotten quite creative too. Good investment for those creative types. Ad the best part is everyone who saw him wearing them absolutely loved them and thought they were so kool

Bought these as a gift for my son and he's having a lot of fun with them. As others have stated, the only real problem is that the connectivity between the glasses and the app required to control them is inconsistent and drops frequently. Other than that they are pretty impressive. They are oversized and fit comfortably over regular Rx glasses. My son used them for 3+ hours and the batteries were still half full, so they last several hours.

I bought these Chemion glasses, they arrived today, and I was unable to connect them to my Moto Z4 to change the patterns and make my own.I went through the manuals, tried all FAQs and troubleshooters they had, and then started to find lots of people online having problems depending on their device, especially if they are running Android 10, but some Apple users as well. It literally says on their Amazon description that Bluetooth connection is available to devices running "iOS 7 or later & Android 4.4 or later," but this is untrue, and has been untrue for almost a year, AT LEAST!Take a look at the questions section, and you might see an answer I missed:Question: I can't connect Bluetooth to glasses. It's just keep connecting.Answer: Apparently if you have Android 10, it will not connect. Figured that out through reviews on the app itself after already buying. $70 wasted really.Date Answered: July 5, 2020The reviews on the Google Playstore are also atrocious, currently at a 2.4/5 stars, where these connectivity problems are echoed again and again. There are reviews from as far back as October 2020, at LEAST, detailing how compatibility for different devices is absolutely terrible, to non-existent.I am returning my Chemion glasses, as I cannot customize them, because they will not connect to my phone like they are advertised to do.I cannot recommend you purchase these, as depending on whether or not your device is still supported (if any of them are in fact still being supported), you may be unable to change the default animations in any way, being unable to connect to your device. You are gambling on whether or not that functionality will work with your devices. That is always a risk with a product like this in one sense however, because the day the app is no longer supported, you can no longer use that interactivity with the product.Background:I did some research before buying these, so I knew that they were kind of brittle/weak/easily breakable, and uncomfortable/tight-fitting/small, but I figured I could always pull out the internal electronics and put them in a helmet or something else if I wanted to. Unfortunately, the whole reason for purchasing these was to create my own animations and expressions, and use those that others had created and shared, and since I am unable to do that, these have no use for me.For reference, the five default animations (which you are stuck with if you cannot connect to the app) include: Rolling waves, Fireworks, Beating Heart Eyes, Arrows panning both directions away from center, and the word GO!!!

These glasses are awesome. I first saw them in a Facebook ad, so I was skeptical to order them at first. Usually I never buy something that I discovered via targeted advertisements. But after considering it for awhile I took the risk, ordered a pair, and WOW these are amazing. I wore them to an electronic music festival and tons of people were stopping to give me a compliment or take a photo/video. Be prepared to receive a LOT of attention if you wear these in public.Feature-wise these are fully programmable via the smartphone app, where you can create your own animations frame by frame. You can save up to 5 animations to the glasses themselves. Otherwise, your phone can connect via bluetooth to control your glasses and display text, animations and user created content that can be downloaded via the app.The only downside with these glasses is that if you have them connected to your phone, it will drain your phone battery FAST. This is because the smartphone app is constantly "streaming" what is being displayed on your glasses. To save battery life, you're better off creating animations and saving them to one of the 5 slots on the glasses, then disconnecting the glasses from your phone. You can cycle through the animations with the button on the glasses. Honestly, it's a small price to pay for such an awesome pair of glasses. I highly recommend them!

Geliefert wird ein kleiner edler Karton, der Karton ist mit Schaumstoff gefüllt so das die Brille perfekt geschützt ist. Die Brille ist ziemlich gross, ich hab mir die Brille etwas kleiner vorgestellt, wobei der tragekomfort sehr gut ist, die Brille übt keinen unangenehmen Druck auf die Nase oder die Ohren aus. In dem Karton werden folgende Dinge mit geliefert, die Brille, 2x AAA Batterien (für die Brille), eine Anleitung und ein Säckchen um die Brille darin zu verstauen. Die 2 AAA Batterien setzt man ganz einfach in die Bügel der Brille ein, danach kann es auch schon fast los gehen, während die Brille eine Verbindung sucht, zeigt sie den "Paring-Name" an.Die Brille ist sehr gut verarbeitet, was mich etwas stört ist der Batterie Betrieb, ein kleiner Akku wäre sinnvoller :o).Als erstes muss man sich die App laden, im AppStore wird man ziemlich schnell fündig, die app heisst "Chemion". Nach dem ich die App geladen und gestartet habe, versucht die App sich via Bluetooth zu connecten (bluetooth sollte eingeschaltet sein :o).Nach dem connecten bietet die App einige Funktionen und Einstellungen,Manuelle Text Eingabe - und die Brille kann den Text auf verschiedene Arten anzeigen, hüpfend, bewegend und stehend.Creator - beim Creator kann man den Text oder ein Bild selber "zeichnen" und man kann in 3 verschiedenen Helligkeitsstufen zeichnen.Equalizer - Zeigt die Typischen Equalizer Balken die auf Musik und Lautstärke reagieren.Explorer - der Explorer bietet eine Datenbank mit Bildern an von anderen Nutzern, die man sich ganz einfach "runter laden" kann, auch eigene Bilder kann man anderen Leuten zur verfügung stellen, allerdings wird dazu natürlich eine Internetverbindung benötigt.Einstellungen - da kann man seine Brille Privatisieren, den Akku stand überprüfen und ein Hilfebutton beantwortet einige Fragen :o)Die Brille zeigt Bilder und Texte sehr klar an, allerdings ist die Sicht natürlich eingeschränkt, man kann zwar immer noch alles gut erkennen aber man sollte dabei kein Fahrzeug führen :o). Ich habe aus Neugierde natürlich geguckt was die Brillen bei anderen Herstellern kosten, leider finde ich keinen anderen Hersteller, Chemion ist der einzige der bei Amazon diese Brille vertreibt?!. Ich habe die Brille bei einem OpenAir Festival angehabt und die Reaktionen auf die Brille waren zu 90% positiv, wobei man auch sagen muss das die Brille im dunkeln sofort auffällt und auch alle Blicke auf sich zieht.Ich habe Bewusst nur Fotos von der App und der Brille hoch geladen, da hier schon richtig gute Videos in den Rezessionen hoch geladen wurden, TOP Arbeit (leider ist das nicht so oft).Ich habe die LED Brille rabattiert bekommen und musste nicht den vollen Preis zahlen, allerdings nimmt das keinen Einfluss auf meine Bewertung.Die Bewertung bekommt von mir 4 Sterne, warum?- Das Sichtfeld ist eingeschränkt- Man könnte einen kleinen Akku verbauen den man über Micro USB laden kann, wobei die Batterien auch ca. 7-10 Stunden halten (je nach Nutzung)

Lieferung war prompt, wie man das von Amazon ja kennt.Also erstmal ausgepackt und angeschaut.Die Verpackung kommt in schlicht weiß und erinnert in etwa an die Apple Watch 2 Verpackung.Siegel gebrochen und reingeschaut.Die Brille ist gut geschützt in der Verpackung aufbewahrt und die Gläser haben eine Schutzfolie. Sehr schön.Was als erstes auffällt, Sie ist groß. Also wirklich groß. Nicht vielleicht wie ne Clownsbrille, aber größer als man es von einer normalen Brille erwartet. Soll aber kein Minuspunkt sein, denn wir haben hier ja auch keine normale Brille bestellt.Die Batterien kommen in links und rechts in den Bügel der Brille und beim tragen fällt das Gewicht garnicht auf.Eher, würde ich fast vermuten, die Batterien sorgen für ein gutes Gleichgewicht. Der Tragekomfort ist also gegeben.Aber jetzt mal ran, App geladen aufs Android (Samsung Note 4) und Bluetooth gestartet.Brille an und Bluetooth Pairing begonnen. Der Pairing Name leuchtet bis eine Verbindung besteht auf den Brillengläsern.App gestartet und zack, meinen ersten Fehler entdeckt.Es konnte keine Verbindung der App mit der Brille hergestellt werden.Nach einigem hin und her habe ich rausgefunden, das Pairing muss von der App kommen und darf nicht vorher durchs Androidsystem passieren. Vielleicht ein guter Hinweis für ungeduldige wie mich. :-)Anyway, Brille verbunden und Zack direkt neue Bilder auf die Brille transferiert. Bisher lief das super.Fürs Browsen für Fremderstellte Muster aus dem Netz ist Facebook notwendig. Wird nicht jedem schmecken.Aber sonst, super App. Man kann seine Kreationen oder die von anderen auf der Brille oder dem Handy speichern.Vorallem das auf der Brille speichern ist gut, weil so benötigt man nicht andauernd eine Verbindung mit dem Handy.Durch den Knopf an der Brille kann man dann seine gespeicherten Muster auf der Brille auswählen. Tolle Sache, Gut mitgedacht.Warum also nun nicht 5 Sterne. Nun, das sind rein von mir Punkte, die ich besser finden würde.1. Batterien. Warum kein Akku und USB Anschluss.2. Nur weiß. Ich hätte gerne farbige LEDs, was entsprechend die Brille noch um einiges aufwerten würde.3. Man kann zwar gut durch die Brille schauen, aber die Sicht ist eingeschränkt. Jedoch hab ich jetzt keine Idee wie man das besser lösen sollte.Ansonstn, ist das Paket was man hier erhält grundsolide und die App ist tadellos ausgearbeitet. Ich würde Sie mir denke ich nochmal holen.Für den Spaß, die Party und die merkwürdigen Blicke die man bekommt.
