Plenty left over after applying to trailer

I had high hopes for this reflective tape. The price was really good and I needed 1” width for my utility trailer. It looked good until I tried to apply it. The adhesive sticks very well to the surface on which it’s being applied, but it adheres poorly to the reflective layer.The first piece I started with, the adhesive came off with the backing paper, separating from the reflective layer. I thought perhaps the original factory cut edge had just dried out, so I tried a new cut edge. That one worked ok but the next one did the same thing. The adhesive separated from the reflective layer.Lacking confidence that it’d stay attached to the surface, I tried to remove it. The plastic reflective layer can right off with little effort, but the adhesive stuck like glue. Removing it was a real pain in the neck because it come off in tiny pieces.

Didn't adhere at first as expected but with pressure it stuck. Would but again

I disliked how it's only 31'4" instead of the full 33'. Also this tape is not sticking to my trailer but it is 44 degrees outside.

I don’t like it. Not bright enough, not dot standard.i want rear end and t bone protection.
