The Biggest Story Coloring Book

Beautiful pictures, with great detail. Thick paper for easy coloring.

My husband got this for our 13 year old daughter who loves art. The images are beautiful and it is such a nice option to have a Biblically themed coloring book for teens and adults. If you are older and still like to color, this is an excellent option and will provide hours of coloring enjoyment.

I selected this coloring book to go along with the Biggest Story curriculum, thinking it would be an activity book for students. As a supplement to the curriculum it’s not a good choice for groups because it cannot be duplicated, which means more copies required; however, as a standalone book for a single individual it’s a neat resource that does an interesting Biblical walk-through.This is an interesting coloring book that maps out a lot of the high points of Biblical storytelling. It is far more detailed the typical coloring books you would give to young children and is actually more suited as an adult coloring book. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it is not what I would expect to be part of an educational curriculum for children.Each page has a Scripture reference at the bottom that goes along with the picture, and going through the whole book it covers major events that are recorded in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. Without the context of the story book that’s also part of the curriculum (or reading the referenced Biblical reference in the absence of the story book), some of the pictures might not make sense to younger kids or to people who have not studied the Bible.This is an interesting and useful resource that goes along with the Biggest Story curriculum. As a stand-alone coloring book it is probably better suited for older children or even adults, and there is a reduced return when not used with the Biggest Story story book, but it is a good tool nonetheless.

If you love the artwork in the Biggest Story book, you'll enjoy this coloring book. Some of the same images, but also some unique to this book. Fun for kids, but also for adults also.

The quality of the book and the binding is great! The scenes in the book are very detailed and it's a great practice of keeping your colors within the lines. There is a lot of room for the kids to explore their creativity within these pages. They can definitely take their time and make some really great colorings!
