Pretty Dang Good
Ive tried numerous types of shirt stays over the years. I absolutely hate the types that go under your feet or clip to the top of your socks. The material has to travel a long way and it gets awkward around your knees while you're sitting. Looks straight up weird. The entire point of shirt stays is to look professional and well kept so that is an automatic no-go for me. So the search continued... And then I found these.I've found them to be very useful while sitting which was always the achilles heel of the other types. I can sit in a chair or even sit on the floor and do a hamstring stretch without my shirt flying up or worrying that the bottom portion of the shirt stay is going to hyper-extend, snap, and fly up and smack my balls or something crazy like that. They horizontal strap doesn't ride up or down on my legs, which is really important for me. I have always had very thick thighs even if I skipped leg day for a whole year. Even when I was a young Soldier right out of basic running 6 minute miles, I always had massive tree trunks below my glutes. Its acutally quite annoying because I like to think I'm pretty fashion conscious and most fashion is designed for guys with thin legs. But anyways, these work just fine with my big legs. HOWEVER, they extremely uncomfortable directly on skin. The velcro portion that is, the elastic stretchy part isn't a problem at all. I have to use my longer (winter) boxer-briefs in order to have underwear material low enough for the velcro to not be directly in contact with skin. The way it looks in the stock product images is totally wrong unless you don't have to take a single step all day while wearing these. Because any movement while the velcro is touching your skin is going to chafe and scratch you immediately and that isn't pleasant at all.Overall, I really like these. Besides the velcro on skin issue which I've easily found a workaround for, the only other thing I would like to see would be that there be a regular version for skinny legs and a large version for guys with big quads/hams. But I can live with them as is. And despite my minor griping, I will definitely be buying these again. I've just started working in a far more corporate type of environment and have to dress in business casual everyday. Ive used these non-stop for the last month and so far I love them. But no product lasts forever and I won't hold it against these when they inevitably fail. I'll just buy a couple more!

Good
This is the first shirt stay I've ever used so I don't know how it compares but it does what it says it does and that's all I really need. As for the feel of it, there are some things that can be done to make it more comfortable. The velcro on the strap can get scratchy, I recommend making the velcro patch slightly smaller than the width of the band. Keeping in mind this product was designed for men, the strap was kind of too large for my thigh, but I am sure there are men who have slimer thighs than me who might also run into this problem. Lastly, the strap connecting to the thigh band could be stitched to the thigh band diagonally in the direction it stretches to hold the shirt, rather than perpendicularly because the strap doesn't lay flat when it is stitched the way it is now. That being said, the apparatus is not super noticeable, only if you are wearing jeans (for some reason). The clips are fairly flat and have no problem with slippage while holding down my shirt.

THEY ARE the World's Greatest Shirt Stays! (tried a few others)
having started off with $10 budget shirt stays that wrap around the thigh, they did their job but i got what i paid for in terms of quality and comfort. the biggest gripe was that each garter had 3 clips with sharp teeth that would damage my shirts. eventually i moved to another brand called Almost Done Y-shaped stays that worked very well if i wore the right socks (socks that rode up my calves rendered the product useless as i am 5'3"). Y-shapes are great for holding your socks up as well!but the best comfort and build quality and effectiveness has been these World's Greatest Shirt Stays! wide bands with great weight, quality clips that do not damage my shirt, and comfortable adjustable velcro thigh band that works for my fairly sized quads. if you are of the skinnier type, these might not adjusts tightly enough for you unless you are willing to detach and move the velcro patch.all in all, the best solution especially as i will go sockless often during the spring/summer!

Good if it fits you
The shirt stay is well made, and if it fits your body type and shirts I imagine it works well. It does not fit me. I am 5' 10" and weigh 170 lb, and the horizontal strap of the stay is so long that it wraps very loosely around my leg above the knee, even at the tightest adjustment of the Velcro closure. [A tape measure around my leg at the relevant height shows 15".] As a result, the strap doesn't stay there, it rides up my leg. This could be fixed (in future versions of the product) by making one of the two parts of the Velcro closure longer. In addition, even if I hold the horizontal strap where it belongs around my leg, the shortest possible adjustment of the vertical straps is too long for the shirts I wear. I wear Brooks Brothers shirts, which are generously long below the belt. The rear vertical strap is OK, but the front one is too long when adjusted to its shortest length. So if you have thicker thighs than mine and wear shorter shirts (and/or have longer thighs as well), this product is for you. If not, maybe not.

It works great! Looks Great!
Additional comment. Still love these after six months although I think they should extend the velcro to the end of the straps so people can really get a tight or a to-the-end fit. sometimes the end of the strap sticks out between my legs.I bought a pair from another vendor on Amazon earlier this year, a clip-on form the socks, and it was terribly frustrating because the clips would always come undone, especially at the sock end. The clips on Mr. Shirt work great and are high quality and have not released so far. I look and feel so much better with my shirt tucked in correctly, and it is a much more tailored look. I worried that the around the leg fastening would be uncomfortable or not stay, but it does and you get used to it. I wear these now whenever I tuck in my shirts, even with golf shirts and shorts. Really sharp!

10x better than stirrup-style solutions
A much-improved experience over the traditional, military exchange stirrup options. These are made with heavy duty clasps, double-action hinges, and sturdy fabric. They don't require hassling with socks just to remove your shirt, don't irritate your skin with rubbing or chafing down the length of your leg, or require threading of the shirt's fabric through the "eye" of any hook to work - eliminating all of the issues of the stirrups. These are very adjustable with a 3" soft pile of velcro on the thigh-strap. I have small/medium thighs (16" above the knee) and had zero issues fitting. The only drawback is a faint outline of the thigh-strap visible through thin, tight-fitting pants. This is unnoticeable through jeans, chinos, or pretty much anything other than fine suits (which are not usually tight around the knee).

I don't know why I never had these...
These things are a game changer. I recognized them from old pictures and always wondered what they were. These are a godsend. If you like to move around a lot when you're dressed up and not have to worry about your shirt coming un-tucked, these are perfect! I danced my butt off at a wedding recently and never had to worry about my shirt falling out.Two cons:- Initial setup and adjustment is difficult- Too much movement and the clips may fall offOverall, this did the job.

Awesome
So far so good, I've had this for about a month and I'm in a consistently moving environment (i work at a night club). Even in some pretty extreme conditions its held together ( kicking people out/stretching/wearing it 5 days a week ). My tip is to not overtighten the leg strap. And its some getting used to since I come from not wearing and shirt tucker. But overall great value for the money. I can't really compare it to others since this one is my first amd probably my last (since its so good) but the other "good" ones are twice the price .

So cool that I had to!
I’ve never reviewed anything before, but these are so cool that I had to! Given my military background, I don’t like looking like a “Rag Bag”. As an airline pilot that flies almost every day, I love how sharp these make me look and feel climbing in and out of the aircraft flight after flight. I liked the simple, tactical look of these versus other options that look like women’s garter sets. When worn, they feel like you are wearing spandex shorts. Very comfortable. I forget I have them on. The only challenge I have had is getting through metal detectors since the clips are metal.

Not for someone whos on the move
Comfort wise these beat stirrup style shirt stays out of the water especially in the summer. The idea is great but I have been having problems with it hence the 3 stars. The metal length adjustments have a hard time staying in place I find myself taking my duty belt at least once a shift to fix them, also even with the velcro leg straps strapped tightly they will slide down my thighs during any kind of foot pursuit or running. If your using these for any kind of law enforcement uniform I would suggest these only if you are not in a busy area.

Not quite there
The materials are of very good quality and this is, theoretically, a good products. It has 2 flaws, however:1) the Velcro straps are quite short, so these might be uncomfortably tight on anyone who doesn’t have very skinny legs; and2) because both pieces are identical (and not one right and another left), on one of your legs there will be “spiky” Velcro rubbing against the fabric or seams of your trousers, damaging wool and delicate fabrics

Works Great
I have somewhat slim legs and I am pleasantly surprised that the elastic positioning bands stay in place. The bands are not uncomfortably tight either.Product works well and keeps shirt in place once positioned in a sensible manner.

Love it
I'm slim-toned-muscle-built and I wear premium extra slim dress shirts. For a long time I've hated how my shirts would come up and I would have to tuck them back in. I absolutely hate when I see people with an over-sized wrinkled dress shirt. This things are are great. Keeps your shirt down and straight. I wore it for hours and I didn't feel like I was wearing them. Definitely recommend if you're going for that dapper European slim look.

Good fit, leave a little slack
Works well. It just takes a little getting used to feeling the elastic around your thigh. Otherwise the fit is fine and they work by securing your shirttails. Allow a little play for when you sit or you will feel the shirt tighten.

Best Shirt Stays on the market!
These are a must buy! I’ve used them for over six months, I work very long days with a lot of walking. They are very comfortable when walking, or sitting. The seller is also very helpful, just recently one of the clips wasn’t staying clipped through the day, so I wrote Mr Shirt Inc. and they apologized for the inconvenience and sent me two sets. DON’T HESITATE buy these today!
