When I purchased this knife, the picture of the knife had a vibrant blue color in the middle of the scale. The knife I received had a very muted color where you could barely tell that there was any detail in the center of the scale. I returned it to get a new one hoping it would be different. The second one I received was exactly the same. I decided to keep it anyway even though it definitely did not look like the picture. It is a really nice knife. The action is quite good. The detent was just perfect. The blade flings out with authority. It is a very fidgety knife. You can open the blade with a thumb flick, reverse flick and the rear flicker tab. A few weeks later as I was perusing knives on Amazon, I noticed that they had changed the photo to match the actual finish that I received. The knife gets 4 stars but the change in color way reduces my overall satisfaction.

Full disclosure: I'm a sucker for a pretty face, and this knife sure is pretty! Unfortunately, the beautiful artistic scales are smooth and slick making it difficult to get a firm grip. This could have been somewhat mitigated with some jimping on top of the blade but there is none present. I do like the quality and design but unfortunately lacks usability and I will be returning it (sadly) for a different model.
