Q: How flexible is the coax?

As with all coax, the less bend the better. Never kink any coax

Q: Is this rated for vhf-uhf-hf amateur radio?

Yes. It's "all-band", "from kiloHertz to GigaHertz". I have mine set up to connect my Icom 7000 to an 70' tall, 90' wide inverted V (6m to 160m), best antenna wire I've ever used. Very well protected. It's got THICK protection. You can bury it underground and leave it, no problems; I have mine running out to the woods thru an underground 1" PVC pipe that starts in my basement. As always, remember to GROUND your antennas as required and recommended!!! (It's good stuff. I have also used it for automotive radios... no noise from the car's electrical system when everything is grounded). Enjoy!!! 73 de WX2JOE

Q: Is this coax double shielded?

The spec sheet does not say it is double-shielded, so I'd say probably not. I have had not reason to cut or replace connectors so I can't say for sure. I installed the feed line last summer and have had no problem with it or the connectors.
