If I based this review on brightness alone I would need to find a way to give it 10 stars! Not kidding as I love the way solar has progressed to be much brighter and last through the night. This manufacturer advertises with 6 hours of daylight you can get 24 hours of solar light!So looking at my photo this palm is a good 15 feet tall. Older versions of solar would hardly light up the top at all but this one is almost too much. But you can set the brightness on the remote from 60%, 80% or 100%.The angle you can set both the lights and solar panel independantly are pretty good allowing the solar panel wiggle room to catch the sun. By the way I have NEVER seen a solar panel for these size of lights so big! I think it's something like 4 1/2" by 9".There is an on/off switch under the solar panel plus another switch that switches between 3 modes. I set it on on all the time as long as it is dark enough to turn it on.The only negative thing is that they don't give you batteries for the remote as others have mentioned. But the thing that hurt was my remote didn't work no matter what I did. In fact when I took off the cover to check the orientation of batteries one was very hot!I do wish that both of the smaller sections of light would swivel up even with the main light in a straight line as then I wouldn't see the very bright side light from the back door. I will need to put something in the ground along side of the side light to cover up the bright light from below.So they are sending me out a new unit. I do have an issue of the light turning on very bright and cycling back to a dim light and then back to full brightness.I am hoping that I can change that with a working remote. If not I will take the new unit and replace the old one. It will work I just haven't gotten the new unit to test everything yet.All in all I am blown away with this light!

I Like the mode selector. Only problem was I need long or extension screw driver to attach the light.

It's been sunny all week so they should be charged good during the week, mounted to the south with no obstructions to the sun. I have the lights set to motion sensor, I can see them on my security camera, they constantly turn on for no reason, there is nothing in my driveway and I'm not close to the road, I have them set to stay on for only 30 seconds, they are all dead by 5am when I go to work every day. There is no adjustment for sensitivity on the motion sensor. I bought 4, they all do the same thing. But they do light up my driveway very well before the battery dies.

I needed a light for the driveway as the CCTV could not view well at night and we had people creeping around at 3am! The dim setting is perfect for this and the sensor works well as anyone approaches, I used the cable ties to install the light, beautifully simple and effective. Cannot rate this product highly enough

Arrived very quickly. Looks good. Comes with a remote. You can have it bright or dim it down. Husband advised it was easy to install. It lights up a good part of our garden

Light is very effective and all I want from it. I have only marked a 4 because the remote did not include batteries, which I would expect with such a product.

This light is a bit of a beast and you really do feel the lightness of the plastic compared to old fashioned metal security lights. The only downside with plastic of course is durability and any damage you may cause with installation. The light itself had it’s issues to put up, the screws provided are small and the holes are not the easiest to get to if you want to use an electric drill to screw in as the solar panel doesn’t move much. Once up the light proves adequate light and the security area is good for my drive. You can turn off easily from a button on the bottom, just understand that if it isn’t high like mine than anyone else can also easily turn it off.
