Bought a book, was in fab condition

This book is very useful as it contains a lot of the A level curriculum and condenses a lot of information. I’m using this book to revise biology A level for my PGCE year

Some very useful resources but more support course sheets would have been useful given the cost

Covers all the content I needed and has regular reviews and quizzes to make sure you have understood!!

As a student, if your school decides to use some past papers, this textbook is completely incompatibly. There are a number of inconsistencies with the information in the textbook and the mark schemes of the exam papers. Not only that, the textbook gives you twice as much information as you don't know compared with what you do. Unfortunately, there are no alternatives, what with the revision guide leaving out too much information. The fat that the author is unable to present content actually required for the assessment means this textbook requires other content to add a little bit of structure. You'll need this textbook, but its not well written.In addition to this, the content is presented in a condescending way. It add a lot of supplementary information when explaining key principles, but they do little to aid the actual learning of those processes, and is just filler information. If there were alternatives not written by these two, then it would be music to my ears.
