I love my antique pieces and always protect them. These beautiful doilies let me do that while not taking away from the furniture itself. The doily stands alone or holds a nice size tray.

Came early, looks beautiful . Exellent quality, looks more expensive, a lot more expensive than what it was. Put one on fruit bowl on dinning table -- you can see the wood under it ! looks great. One on dressing table,(as you got two) looks very romantic and classy ! would buy again.

I love these little mats. I like their old lady vibe and I am looking forward to using them for tea. They are the perfect size for a teacup and saucer and a small plate of cookies or a dessert. Very happy with this item.

I've always loved the retro lace placemats and table runners my elderly relatives used to put out when I was a kid - this placemat reminds me of them! The embroidery is very nice and doesn't seem to be loose to where it's easy to pull threads out. They don't look cheap or have any odor to them.Do note that, while the thread of the embroidery and lace is cotton, the material it is embroidered on to is NOT. This is the only reason I removed a star, because this isn't noted in the description and I was under the impression that it was solid cotton. The embroidery is done on some sort of mesh/netting which feels like it's made of nylon. So be aware of this if you go to wash, iron, or otherwise treat these with some cleaner - they are NOT solid cotton which means they might be susceptible to damage from high-heat ironing or harsh chemicals.I haven't tested to see if the pink/green dye in the threads will bleed, but be aware that they *might.* Also if you don't have a garment bag for washing delicates, I recommend one for these (and all your lacy delicates made with any kind of materials). So...delicate wash on cold in a garment bag, possibly with a color protectant sheet in the first wash if you're worried about it, and you're good.But yeah. For the list price, you can't beat these for some cute vintage-style decor at the kitchen table. Or on an end table. Or wherever you want to put them, really. I love them and will likely get some more to have a full set for the table. Thanks!
