A Slave to the Darkness: Book 2 in the Black Rose series

OMG! Freaking amazing!After reading book one I couldn't wait to delve into the darkness again and start book 2.This book is more about Cate's son, Blake and his journey in meeting tilly, the beautiful human girl who gets under Blake's skin from the moment he lays eyes on her.The dark prince is a tough cookie to crack but Blake is smitten with Tilly and she wins her way slowly into his heart and becomes his follower. The connection between Tilly and Blake is felt throughout the book and I absolutely loved them both, and as characters, they are perfect for each other. Tilly has a lot of changes to make if she is to be worthy of Blake but he must also make some changes in himself if he and Tilly are to have any sort of future together.Laura Morgans writing is so powerful and addictive, it keeps you hooked from the very start!Be warned......this book has a cliff hanger because Laura Morgan is evil lol. 😈😈

I enjoyed this book much more than the first. I could totally relate to Tilly At the beginning of the book. Young naive, sheltered. She goes to the circus with her friends and is mesmerized with the juggler Brent. Through Brent Tilly is unknowingly brought into the of a Satanist. Her life will soon be changed forevermore. I liked Brent at first but lost my interest in him. I didn't care for the dark prince Blake when he first showed up, but by the end of the book he had captured my heart along with the only girl he has eyes for. I loved the book I am almost done with the third one now

*This book was given to me in exchange for a honest review*If I could give this a 10 I would...this story is beautifully written and so very entertaining...I need more...Laura Morgan has out done herself with this book and series....Oh I need more of my wonderful Dark Prince & Dark Queen as they battle their own bad guys..it's almost as though the supposedly good guys are almost worst bad guys than they are supposed to be...I just want to kneel at the wonderful Dark Prince's feet myself..

The world is developing, yet not developed. There are still continuity issues, and timing issues - how can it possibly be that earth fashions and society haven't moved on over the hundreds of year that Cate has lived - the author could explain that away but doesn't. The show/tell ratio is vastly better, but the sex scenes are boring, repetitive and too frequent. A step up, but still not good.

Loving the suspense et drama in this book, it continues from book one. This book is Blake the Black Prince et Tillies story it was filled with anger. angst,hurt, et love I'm interested to see Uriel is up to in the next book.It a definite recommend.

I was kindly given this book for a review, all I can say is wow! I thought the first book in this serious was good, but this one just topped it! I am so in love with Blake and Tilly. It's just so exciting to read, and even being Christmas time I just couldn't put it down! Thank you again Laura for writing something so brilliant, I cannot wait to read book 3.

Couldn't stop gasping! I totally fell into the story, felt for the characters and slightly drained at the end and picked up book 3 immediately.Tilly and Blake provide such a great romance and all they achieve and overcome.Another greatly written book for what is turning out to be an amazing series!

This book has me engrossed from the beginning a cliffhanger ending can't wait for the next book you won't be disappointed!

Took me a while to get round to reading book number 2 and glad I did. Loved the storyline and loved the new characters. Great read

Having read the first instalment had high hopes for part 2 did not disappoint Ms Morgan delivers her stories that build the anticipation throughout the book leaving the reader with baited breath until the final cliffhanger end.

Wow again. Keep it up please.

Another brilliantly written bookThis kept me glued to my iPad, I really can't wait for third book in the black rose series.

A great read from start to finish , I can't wait for the next one . I could not put it down .

Laura Morgan has a fantastic imagination and found something fascinating, that is completley new in the world of the devil/demons and angels! Love it......
